Lol Ohhhhh my word, now this is a total blast from the past! I didn't even remember I made this thread, haha.

Also that is the best line I've heard in awhile ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

ETA: Idk why it's not letting me tag anyone lol

Finally someone else who has the same flirting "skills"! haha

To be fair, it's not a particularly good thing to be good at anyway. Honesty and humility are the two sexiest traits anyone can have.

I know that's not the point of the thread, but eh. I've never liked it. Even when I was younger I just used to keep it real. I never had time for all of that silly stuff.

I completely agree, to be honest. Jane Austen said never trust a charming man, and if a guy was overly flirtatious and charming, it puts major red flags up.

I am honest, but my personality type doesn't come across very humble. I think my big personality (at least online, in the RL I'm rather shy and quiet unless I know you.) scares off the men. lol

Bahah, when I try to flirt, it just becomes this awkward thing. I naturally have an outgoing and bubbly personality and I know that when I am who I am, it can come off as that.

But, I have no idea on how to flirt and when I attempt, it is not pretty. At all.

In real life, I tend to talk to everyone (even strangers) like I've known them for twenty years. It can come off as me just being overconfident, when the reality is, I just have nothing to hide! That's how I CAN travel around freely and make friends so easily, because I don't hold anything back. The more things you hide about yourself, the harder it'll be for you to cope in social situations because you're not letting your true colours flow - or worse, you'll act fake, and open up dialogue with "hey baby".

Some would consider my approach suicidal "if you care, you'll aim to impress" - well, I don't care lol. The only thing I care about is authenticity. I've pretty much always been like it, bar a few periods of my life.

Chances are, I'd show up to a date with you looking like I've just come from a wet weekend at Glastonbury. I'd most likely make the worst first impression as well, but, eh. Face bothered? Lol.

I'm the exact opposite, I'm like that online. I have no qualms about sparking up a conversation with anyone. Also I'd die before I call anyone "baby", I even have issues with calling someone I'm dating baby or any other pet names. I'm from the South (US) so all the women here open up with "Hey Baby!" Or "Hey Honey" and I'm just... not that girl.

In RL I don't care what people think of me, they already make an opinion I can't seem to change anyhow, so why be what they want. I'm just more quiet and reserved until I get to know someone and then I'm more like my "online self" if you will.

I make terrible first impressions.
