I was on-line when it went down - fpooff! and there it was, gone! Most disconcerting! But these things happen. I have this somewhat pointless little saying "computers are fine until they do it back at you!"

I noticed the error message, but went on doing something else, and didn't notice until much later that it was back. I had no idea it was down that long, but at least I got a ton of housework done in the meantime!

At least it isn't anything terribly serious, just a little aggravating - mostly for Erwin I would imagine.

Well, removing those extra lines from the web server config helped. So they stay off.

Erwin, do you have monitoring software that is checking the web site and related infrastructure? It could let you know when a problem occurs and you could configure it to restart the site on a crash.

You know I posted a thumbnail pic before I went to the email and then rep some people so maybe your problems is around those area's?

just thinking what it could be causing the problem.

Not as easy to do on FreeBSD plus the service didn't crash or stop, it just got stuck.

Not a problem, you could set this up in about 15 minutes for free. What tools have you looked at?
