Honor, I'm curious why you are doing battle here? If progressive viewpoints baffle you, why not ask more questions to better understand why people are the way they are?

I explained why we need to place each other on ignore. If what I say upsets you so much we should put each other on ignore. The fact that you are unwilling to respond to my request baffles me. I asked you to stop talking about me, and put me on ignore.

I did no such thing. I did not threaten to turn you in to the mods for harassment. I said that I was copying the mods on the message so that if this continued they would know that I had tried to remedy the situation by suggesting we ignore each other. This is the very reason I copied some of the mods on this PM because I thought you would misrepresent my words. If you will misrepresent what I say in an open forum, I can only imagine how you might twist my words when no one can see them to know the truth.


Now---who is harassing whom here?? I think the answer is VERY obvious.

I do think the answer is quite obvious, as you have continued to discuss me in this forum, impuning my character and have not responded to my PM's. You have continued to keep this matter in the public eye when I tried to address it privately. I am asking you again to stop talking about me, and put me on ignore, or if you have something to say to me say it privately.

Honor, you seem to have such issues with me, but the way you go about addressing them is not the Biblical way at all. What is wrong with us discussing our problems with each other in a private manner like I wanted to. It appears that you would prefer to make me the villian in the public forum, or more importantly make yourself the victim here, and gain support and sympathy from others who think I have mistreated you.

Nobody made me apologize. What do you mean I had no choice? I did what I thought was right. I was wrong and I apologized to you -- publicly. Here again you are impuning my character, and I am asking you to stop this.

But to say that it is I who have been harassing her—well—it’s obvious that is not the truth and she needs to apologize again for this unwarranted attack.

I'm sorry for what ever you think I did was wrong. I am sorry for upsetting you so much that you have spent two days of your life in full spin over me. I did not intend to upset you so much with my words. I know I can be harsh, but you know you can too. But two days of this is two days too many.

For the I don't know how manyeth time in the past two days, stop talking about me, and if I upset you so much, put me on ignore. I don't know how else to say it. If you continue this nonsense, it only indicates to me that you would rather continue in strife than take the more peaceful route of ignoring me.

OK I guess I did. Sorry, but I can't remember everything that I say. I guess I should have checked the message before replying. The best way to deal with someone like you is complete transparency. So here it is in all its glory. I said if you continue to harass me, and I do believe what you have done over the past two days rises to the level of harassment.

Since you want to keep this in the public forum, let them see and decide for themselves. I am assuming that since you made the threat I am not breaking any privacy rules on the forum by posting this. I am sure if I have there will be many messages awaiting me when I wake up in the morning.

I am requesting that you remove all reference to me from your posts, particularlay posts in the Progressive SDA forum concerning your incorrect interpretation of what I posted.

I am also requesting that you put me on ignore and I would in turn put you on ignore. This way we can roam the forum in peace, and leave each other alone.

If participating in the forum is such a stressfull expreience I like many others have may reach the day when I need to move on. But it will be a sad day for me because I have met many strong Bible students who have made me better, and stronger as a Bible student. I am referring to people of the Adventist faith as well as the Church of Christ. I respect these sincere Bible students.

And then there are the ones like you..... I am thankful that you are not the only Adventist I have met. And if you were my sole Christian example, at your hateful, spiteful, bitter best - I believe you could turn one away from Christianity itself.

So the best thing for us I believe is to put each other on ignore, and pretend the other doesn't exist.

Bottom line is this boils down to two requests: Clean up your posts, and put me on ignore.

Hi Avonia--I'm not baffled at all. To the contrary--my eyes are wide open in reference to the progs. So therefore my 'doing battle' should be obvious-right?

If I would have posted this comment to you Night--how fast would your little finger have found the report button? How fast would you have called me-intolerant, mean and vicious? Heck--you still haven't gotten over the reference I made about you and the devil. That was way milder than the above quote from the pm. But then--you would NEVER agree that it is--so why am I wasting my time?

Annie--I was going to answer your pm with another PRIVATE pm. The reason I didn't do it immediately was because,(a) I had to think about what it was you were actually asking of me and (b) I have been extremely busy outside of this forum and just haven't had to time write it.

But in light of the fact that you posted the pm (without my permission) and in my absence shows to me that you really were not sincere in wanting to 'work this out'. It also shows to me that in fact you seem to want this disagreement to keep going. So I'm just going to let things stay as they are. I'll do my best to avoid any more responses to your posts as I hope you will do with mine.
