  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Do you mean NOBODY started a thread for the new Apprentice that started last night!!! Seriously?!

OK, I couldn't BELIEVE what happened on Celebrity Apprentice the last time, but it turns out I always find myself tuning in.

What did any of you think about Brett Michaels being fired last night? He won the whole thing the last time he was on, but this time he was the first one fired. What do you think happened -- what do you think his fatal mistake was?

Personally, I think he should have raised more money for Brande Roderick. If he was going to be tempted to hold back donors with her, then he shouldn't have let her serve as Project Manager. She threw him under the bus for sabotaging her, and I think she was right. I mean, if I had been Brett, I would ask my donors to split their donations in half, and give half on Brande's project and half on my own project, when I am the manager. They ALWAYS fire the lowest fundraisers, and Omarosa aside, I agree with Brande that you can probably assume that Brett was a low fundraiser, because he admitted to holding back donors, to save for later. I don't think you can do that -- you have to pull your own weight on teams, and then maybe you can get more competitive later on.

Oh, and I don't like Omarosa. She is going to be worse than Nene Leakes (and she was pretty awful)!

They are showing the first episode again tonight (along with the new one), and if there is nothing else on, I think you should get out the popcorn, carrot sticks or whatever, because for once this is "Office Politics" that is someone else's problem, and that alone has value, at least for me! You learn from them when they pull it off, and you learn from them when they don't.

I take it back -- Omarosa is NOT smarter than Nene. Both women appear to have crawled out of the same gutter. And this is less than 30 minutes into the show tonight.

Celebrity Apprentice is supposed to be about how the professionals handle projects that fall within their areas of expertise. And I don't like the way Omarosa is handling La Toya Jackson's project. Undermining and arguing with La Toya does ZERO to show Omarosa's actual abilities. It's shortsighted, unprofessional and stupid.

La Toya gets fired, and Trump tells La Toya that if she had only brought Omarosa back to the boardroom, he would have fired Omarosa instead. So now we all are stuck with Omarosa for next time. Thanks, La Toya!

Bad decision. Even a slight chance of getting rid of Omarosa would have made it worth bringing her back. It didn't make any sense, and it contributed to Trump deciding to fire La Toya instead. Furthermore, I don't think anyone believed La Toya when she denied being afraid of Omarosa. It doesn't appear to have been a rational decision, because as Trump said, if you are going to stand up to Omarosa at all, the boardroom is the only place where you can get something done about it.

So Omarosa gets to stay as a result of SCARING La Toya. Yep. I know.

Now I am more upset with La Toya than ever, because she was in the best position to get Omarosa fired. Claudia ALSO refused to bring Omarosa back, but it didn't matter, because Trump said it wasn't even a toss-up and that it didn't matter who Claudia brought back -- he was going to fire Claudia.

Here we go again!

Oh, and Gary repays Lisa Rinna for her kindness to him, by trying to embarrass her. I don't get it.

Also, Trace is funny!

Trace has to play on the other team, Team Power with Omarosa, and it is another fundraiser -- they have to sell 3-D art that they create. Trace ends up being the top fundraiser but Little John still loses (to Lisa Rinna), and he brings Dennis Rodman and Omarosa back to the boardroom with him as his lowest fundraisers.

I am at a loss to describe this episode, because Omarosa was finally fired tonight! If you missed it, you are just going to have to watch it for yourself!

The losing team was Dennis Rodman's, and he was fired last night (they misspelled Mrs. Trump's first name). I had a feeling either Dennis or Gary would be next. Gary's team keeps winning, so for now he has a reprieve, but I am beginning to think he is next.

Nope. It wasn't Gary. It was Stephen Baldwin, because even though Gary's team lost this time, Stephen Baldwin was the Project Manager on the losing project. It was a fair decision, though, because Stephen Baldwin was the one with the losing idea -- only showcasing one product in the entire line of sunscreen products in his commercial.

And Littlejohn is one smart guy. He NAILED it! ^_^

The project last night was a South African tourism exhibit. Penn Gillette and Lisa Rinna ignored Gary Busey and created an unbelievably effective exhibit, complete with traditional South African Zulu dancers, food and drink. They won, of course, giving Gary yet another reprieve. Brandee was the Project Manager of the losing team, who didn't come up with any of the good ideas that the tourism people liked, and got fired.

Gary's reprieve was finally over last night. He was the Project Manager, he wouldn't listen to Penn and Lisa's ideas and created something...strange to advertise LG phones. Little John and Trace and Marilou won as pretty much everyone expected, and Gary was fired.

Problem: I like ALL of them. Trace, Little John, Marilou, Penn and Lisa are all REALLY strong players, and any one of them could win this.

But at least Gary is gone now. I was afraid my face would set up into a permanent grimace from watching him pull stunt after stunt, and that boardroom scene was as bad as it got.

I am still trying to grab a link from last night. I'll post it ASAP.

Here it is: http://www.nbc.com/the-apprentice/video/ahabs-in-charge-and-hes-gone-mad/n35981/

I'm just glad Amorosa got fired. What shocked me is I didn't know she was married to that guy (forgot his name). He was one of my fav actors. He must have seen something in her we didn't. Either that or she was using him for his money.

With everyones that left, I like them all also. I've come to enjoy Little John. He seems like a good person unlike most of his profession who can be... not as enjoyable. I will say, while I like Penn, I very much have no respect for him and his hate towards christianity. f you ever seen the show he had on cable with teller. It was FILTHY. Naked woman, mocking of christians and how horrible we are. Swears like crazy. Hes a terrible person really.

But since hes forced to stay clean on this show (well on cam at least) I like him.

Check out Omarosa on Wikipedia.

Also, I have no doubt that 99% of the people on Celebrity Apprentice have moral beliefs that we would not agree with. Most of them would not profess Christianity. It's the entertainment industry so you have to consider the source. But having said that, Penn Gilette is no less astute than the other people. That's what I meant when I said that I "like" him. Specifically, he knew how to handle that situation with Gary Busey in a way that minimized the drama. He acted like an adult, and I REALLY appreciate that.

Marilou Henner got fired last night. Little John and Trace decided to just kick back and let her micromanage everything and do what they were told, and guess what? They lost! She just pushed the two of them to the periphery, and they let her rather than fight with her. Maybe they knew that if they just did what they were told, that she would be gone, and that this would be just fine?

There is a lesson here for people who are not open to what the other people might have to offer, or to suggest. But I was sorry to see Marilou gone -- I really did like her on this show. If anything, she forgot to get out of "idiot mode" -- since the idiots were gone, it was time to get input from the others now, because everyone who was left would have had something to contribute. This could have been any one of us, because this would have been a tough transition to have to make, at least this abruptly - LOL!
