Thread: Spirit Song
Name: Cedar Mullins
Age: A young man, 18-25, he never speaks of his age at all.
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 139
Gender/Race: Male/Human
Appearance: Tall, lanky, and almost unhealthily slender. Has a mop of dark curly brown hair, pale/fair skin, brown eyes. He looks average, nothing striking about him. He usually dresses in sensible durable garb, consisting of a thick cotton shirt, work trousers, and boots. He always looks tired and or serious.
Personality: He is a pessimist. A cynic. A depressed, gloomy, dark soul. He is terribly overdramatic about the state of everything and he absolutely hates cheerful things. His favorite pasttime seems to be looking for ways to kill himself, but of course he never succeeds and I can already tell you he never will. He likes to moan, groan, and complain about humanity, a LOT. Whenever something nice is done for him, he finds a way to make it seem like he was horribly treated.
Favorite food: Plain mashed potatoes.
Favorite color: The color of shadows under a rock.
Favorite phrase: "I could kill myself. Oh the humanity." Or: "Why me...?"
Background: Cedar grew up as the son of a farmer. They were always poor, and they lived on the outskirts of the town of Edgarton. He was the only living son, his brother had been killed in a war in another country, and his little sister died of an accident with a horse. Stuck, he helped with farming and such, until his parents struck it rich(found gold on their property) and went halfway across the world without him, leaving him with a sack of gold and instructions to take care of the cottage. He was a younger teen at the time, and after a few years had past, he became very resentful of the whole situation.
Feeling he owed nothing to nobody, he sold the livestock of the farm and started to travel, becoming a frugal miser. Of course, he took up some jobs as he traveled, usually as a stable boy or doing something concerning farm work. He found he prefered the sort of life he lead in his childhood, so he settled as a caretaker at a young age in the town of Gior. Unfortunately for him, the job was where Poplar was a hired hand at the time. Latching on to him, he now has no choice but to follow after her. She somehow managed to drag him back to Edgarton against his will. He absolutely can't stand her and her fox.
Even though he hates everything and everyone, he still protects Poplar when things get REALLY out of hand. Like her life is in danger. But if it's anything less than that(her leg nearly getting cut off, eating bad mushrooms), he enjoys seeing her naivette get her into trouble.
