  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Chuck's one of the only things I'll go out of my way to watch - I thought it'd be a good show from the online description, and haven't been disappointed yet! So, you're a go-to gal for any and all computer problems? :p

Hey Casey! How'd you get involved with computer stuff? (coming from one who is as computer illiterate as can be found in the current generation...haha)

I like your ctrl-alt-delete thing in your signature btw:thumbsup:
Hey ryan!

hmmmm..the first spark of fascination I had with computers started when I was like 12, I had like 6 virtual "giga pets", and I used to wish i knew how to make them myself (program chips) i know weird...LOL! then after awhile I lost interest because we didnt even have a home comp yet:p but when we got one, I didn't have a clue how to use the thing efficently, and was scared of messing it up, so I decided I am going to try and learn as much about computers as possible, and i became overly fascinated with how they work etc! then last year my parents bought me a distance learning programming course which I'm taking right now and should have completed by May this year:clap:

and since i've learned and passed my computer literacy portion I've become even geekier..and starting to relate ordinary terms and stuff with tech terms:doh: hehe! but i'm still learning, I've got TONS more i don't know, I am basically a fledgling computer geek, I know basic software and file stuff and some HTML codes, and know my ROMS from my RAMS..etc. ;) but i could try and help u with ur basic troubles..any of you! i get great joy out of being of assitance to those who need that kind of help. My dream job is to be a network admin or web designer.

quoting toastface:
haha I know right? same here! and if i miss it on tv, I immediately watch it online thru NBC's website! so far all shows have kept my attention and its lasted more then one season so that must mean alot of people like it like we do!:) and sure, if u have an issue i'll try my best to help out..i've had some experience with minor comp probs!

Speaking of Chuck, I'm watching the end of last Monday's episode now - I'm never home Monday nights at 8, but praise the Lord for NBC.com. That's awesome how you got into computers - about 90% of it is like a foreign language, so you've got props from the Toastface for getting it all figured out. And thanks for the help offer, too!
Do anything awesome this weekend? And how's the programming course coming along?

Maybe you could get a web designer to answer this question, but I would think a web designer would be fun. I've done a little of that, and it was fun.

I've done some network admin stuff, a lot of LAN Admin stuff, SysAdmin support stuff, and can be interesting at times, but not always.
