Can't come up with a reasonable explanation for the facts surrounding that particular Voter ID law? No surprise, the courts couldn't either which is why it was ruled to be illegal.

I'd love to see another explanation of why the GOP legislators in my state specifically researched which types of IDs are hardest to get for minorities before enacting a law requiring those types of IDs to vote.
“Before enacting that law, the legislature requested data on the use, by race, of a number of voting practices,” Motz wrote. “Upon receipt of the race data, the General Assembly enacted legislation that restricted voting and registration in five different ways, all of which disproportionately affected African Americans.”
“The new provisions target African Americans with almost surgical precision”
I can't answer the question because his statement was an assertion without qualifiers.you didn't answer the question...here it is again...
to remind you of how the court ruled...
I wasn't talking about Texas. Why bring it up?It's not illegal. Voter ID is alive and well in Texas.

Purging the voting rolls of the deceased is quite easy.
He was talking about North Carolina. In addition, the Texas law as written was found illegal, which is why there is now an alternative if somebody doesn't have one of the specified IDs.It's not illegal. Voter ID is alive and well in Texas. The court deemed if someone had extenuating circumstances and can prove such, the state had to provide alternate means. Texas has such stipulations.
Of course links were provided much earlier in the thread. You can look up Texas voter ID and it's all there.

And any chance you're going to try and answer my actual question?
I said a particular voter ID law was ruled illegal. It was. What's your point, other than trying to avoid answering a simple question that you apparently have no answer to.Lol because you said voter ID requirements are illegal.
