CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I DON'T LIKE CATS. BUT I HAVE A DOG. SHE IS THE BEST! I ALSO LIKE HERMIT CRABS. THERE ARE SOME WILD ANIMALS THAT I LIKE , BUT MY MOM WON'T LET ME BRING THEM IN THE HOUSE

I have a black cat who the vet thinks is half siamese, and another black one who is his sibling (who,apart from color, looks nothing like him). And last but certainly not least, my precious, oh-so-demanding tabby cat, who had the vet convinced he was an unusual breed called an ocicat.

When I was little a cat jumped on me and bit me and scractched me and ever since ive been mostly terrified of them... ive always been a dog person myself

The are the best companions... When your sad there always willing to help make you feel better, With a gentle prrr, or a rubb up against you... I love my cat with all my heart, even though sometimes she drives me nuts...

I don't really know what kind he is....just a normal house cat. He's HUGE though, weighs 20 lbs and has a beautiful coat of long white hair.

I dont have any cats becasuse my mom wont let me have any. But they are so cute. I love them. I dont care wat breed or collor they they are all cute escept for the bald ones.

I love cats! My mom has a beautiful male Seal Point Siamese! My Grandma has a Himalayan. Not sure what kind of color thing she has though. My dad has a mixed Himalayan and Persian. It's a beautiful white and gray spotted cat. She has a short nose but it's not flat though like as is common in those breeds.

Awww! Are you sure that Siamese in your avatar isn't a Seal Point? I am pretty sure my Mom's is a Seal Point but he looks very similar to that picture. The only real difference between my Mom's cat and your's is that my Mom's Siamese whose name is Simba has points that are so dark they're almost black. But they're more of a very dark brown than anything. Also, the rest of his coat is a medium-dark brown color.Johanna73 said:Oh he sounds really cute, Do you have a pic's of him by chance...
