My wife and I belong to a small pentacostal church of about 50 people.

While most of them have memorized the KJV Bible, there's not much practical application to life in this world. They say 'Bible' is an acronym: "Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth ' ; I say it's basic instruction while living on earth, but that doesn't make a cute acronym.

I grew up Lutheran. Attended catchetisim, which was mostly memory work The Lord's prayer, creeds, etc. . A lot of it I still retained over 50 years later.

Is there curriculum, programs, books to diciple children and adults? Our pastor is fairly new, and is trying to "right the ship" in my opinion, and I have been praying for either a resource, or even that I could come up with one, to help others "walk in the Word".

Sure, sure, as long as it doesn't attempt to mimic, replace or substitute and bar the work of the Holy Spirit.
Agreed. Our former pastor would say "there can be no inspiration without information.

Sometimes when there is a movement, I wonder if it's of The Lord.
1 John 4:1-3

There seems to be a lot of desire to hear the Holy Spirit, but not a lot of discernment.
