Cat question

Do any of ya'll have a cat that licks plastic? Four out of my six cats do, and it's weird.

That's wierd but some cats are strange. its the same as why do dogs lick feet.

My current kitty does not do this. But my Blue Russians did. There is some kind of oil or fat content to the plastic. It is not harmful. The only thing that I suggest is to cut each handle on the bag, just to make sure they do not get wrapped up in the hole and strangle themselves. Otherwise let them lick to their hearts content!!

One of my four cats does do that. Maybe there is something in the chemicals she likes. Anyway I have to watch her closely about that.

I had a cat years ago who liked to lick photos so couldn't leave them lying around.

The only thing my cat does to plastic bags is "go" on them.

My cat rubs his head on my brush and my dad's wallet. He chews on my hair when it is wet. He likes to sleep in boxes too. You know how when you open up a new gallon of milk you have to pull off that little plastic ring? He used to play with those little plastic rings. Now, he has three mice with catnip in them that he really likes to play with.

My cat used to drink the water out of the bottom of the shower every once in awhile. That was when we lived in our trailer. It had a walk in shower, you know, the kind you don't have to step up over the side to get into. He would walk up to it and drink out of it. I don't think he would stick his paws into the shower though. Like most cats, he doesn't like water. If I am taking a shower and somebody lets him in the bathroom with me, he'll start crying. I have to keep talking to him while I'm in the shower to keep him calm. When I get out of the shower, he is ready to get out of there.

My dad had a kitten when he was little. It liked to play in paper bags. It would play in the bag until it popped a hole in it. My dad says that you would see this little paw pop through the bottom of the bag.
