  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I agree. That song "Who am I" gets me teary eyed almost everytime, b/c that was the one thing I struggled with before becoming a Christian. I used to wonder why would this awesome being care so much about me when I really didn't deserve it and no one else seemed to notice.

Keep rockin' to them.

My mom loves them! Both of our favorite Casting Crowns song is "Voice of Truth". I think it's so powerful because it says not to fear because really we CAN face that wave and we CAN face that giant in our life. I think it's awesome! I still say it's good because Steven Curtis Chapman wrote it, but he's my favorite singer!

Yeah, they are good. We went to their concert with Chris Tomlin and Steven Curtis Chapman, and it was good. Casting Crowns signed autographs afterwords, and they are such nice people! They were actually making conversations like they care. It was awesome! They are great!

I agree with everyone else who thinks "Who Am I" is the best song that they've produced so far. I look at it as not only a great song with great lyrics, but I also see it as a praise song as well and it's one I can really get into. I wixh my church played that song!

I was just reading their bio on Christianitytoday's website. Apparently their lead guy, Mark Hall, was a youth pastor for 12 years, and the band grew out of the music they did for worship at their youth meetings.

All of you have a good day. I'm on the West Coast of the U.S., for me it's late morning.

 I Love Casting Crowns. Their music...it's just so amazing. "Who Am I" is a really great song! I agree! I think that my favorite by them, though, is "Your Love is Extravagant" it's just a really moving song to me. But I just think that they are truly blessed by the Lord in their music. And through that they bless people that hear their music. I just really love them!
