  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There's only a few cartoons geared towards kids that I like these days.
Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genious
Ducktales (although it's no longer on)
and I'd never been a fan of Spongebob...but after seeing previews for the movie, I just might have to become a fan.

As for those cartoons geared towards adults:
The Simpsons
Family Guy
Futurama
Southpark

Ed Edd 'n' Eddy rocks! I dont watch much tv, but that is one of the few cartoons I will watch. I REALLY dont like Spongebob that much. It was ok, but he kinda took over, and everyone got crazy about him, so I got sick of it.

I'm 18+ and my absolute very favorite thing to watch on tv in this whole world and all universes combined - Bugs Bunny & Looney Tunes. The recent DVD releases, Looney Tunes Golden Collection 1 & 2, are my favorite DVD's. If I'm ever stranded on a desert island and I can only bring 20 DVD's with me I'd bring all Looney Tunes! As much as I also love The Simpsons, I'd stick with Bugs & Elmer & friends. It is probably the single thing I can watch 100 times and never get tired of!

Also really like Family Guy, Futurama, and King of The Hill and my guiltiest pleasure: South Park.

Other than those there aren't many at all that I can even think of that I care about. I will watch a little Scooby Doo, some Flintstones, a little Dastardly & Muttley, Tom & Jerry, Droopy Dog, a lot of those good ol' Hanna Barbera cartoons... but I can live without 'em all... can't live without Bugs! Well, i mean, I can but i don't wanna :p

It's been proven that cartoons are a tremendously wonderful way to relieve stress and besides, these cartoons I've mentioned, even Looney Tunes, they're not meant for kids, they're written by and for adults!
