CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My 15-year-old son wants to see it for the simple fact that Larry-the-Cable-Guy does the voice of the little, buck-toothed, "redneck" truck, LOL!
I think it looks as cute as can be. The great thing about these movies is that most jokes geared at adults generally go way over small children's heads anyway.

I read a really great article about it, they started work on it in 1999 and spent 3 years on the plot before working on the animation. That's certainly better than the apparent 3 minutes spent on the Final Fantasy movie's plot

I know my brother wants to see it, but I'm not so interested. But I will be going to see Toy Story 3 when it comes out, lol.

cars was alot of fun,anyways it's geared for kids but my dad laughed and liked it. go see it. it's fun.

We watched it last week. My entire family had a great time. The animation was great and the humor spanned all our ages - 42 down to 3 (our 5 month old didn't get it)
I was just talking with Sarah (our twelve year old). What she liked most was the theme, but the whole talking car idea was pretty cool too.
