Appearance: Carlos's skin is fair and practically unblemished save for a birthmark on his forearm. He's slim and flexible. His hair is a dark brown, red in certain lights, and wavy at his brow, ears, and around his neck, stopping at his collar. He has thicker eyebrows over brown eyes and long lashes. His nose is long and his lips thin. He wears a silver stud in each of his ears, but other than that he has no other jewelry. While living with his wealthy father, Carlos had grown used to wearing silk tunics, expensive breeches, and black leather boots. Polished and shining, of course.
Personality: Although he's outgoing and hardly knows a stranger, Carlos can be quiet if he feels angry or sad. He usually won't outright confront someone, but if they do with him he won't hold back his tongue. He's intelligent but has trouble keeping his emotions under control. He's extremely stubborn and hates to be told what to do. Despite his wealthy past, Carlos is modest and unselfish, grateful for what he's given. He's considerate of others, compassionate, and gentle if he wants to be. He can also be firm and brave if the situation permits.
Background: Carlos grew up with his wealthy father, Briscoe Auvrea, and his twin brother, Caleb, outside the city of Floresco. It was hard going for his first several years as his father was always busy and his brother, though he loved him very much, was mentally disabled. Carlos was forced to help Caleb with everything, watch him, and care for him if need be. But he never resented him, for his brother was all he had. Then his father married a woman when the twins were seven years old. She was beautiful, fun, and kind. Immediately the boys clung to her as their mother for their father had told them about their real mother abandoning them when they were born. So aside from Caleb, Carlos now had one other person in the household whom he could go to, and he did quite often. Before long, Adele (his stepmother) became his best friend.
In went on like that for years until recently when Carlos and his brother were kidnapped and held for ransom in a dark place. He has been there for three months, not knowing where he is or when he will ever see his parents again.
