Career in Christian Music

Anybody out there relate to this?

I feel God moving me into some exciting new ministries.
It seems to be taking the shape of a multi-faceted guitarist/singer kind of thing. Below I break it down...

I feel led to get going on things like

1) An online guitar lessons website perhaps for worship leader hopefuls.
2) Doing some studio work for various christian music endeavors in the area.
3) Continuing my 3 year tradition of private guitar lessons in my home which i love to do.

As I feel these are supposed to add up to the income God wants for us, it turns out none of these endeavors/visions by themselves will generate a full income.

Can anyone out there share their experiences along a path like this?

btw I'm brand new at this CF thing. How do I follow up on this thread?

Welcome to Christian Forums. I really don't know much about your situation but just wanted to welcome you. Do you have time to take a regular job while building your income? Just a thought.

I take it you mean a full income as in paying the bills haha. As a beginning Christian singer/songwriter myself, I know it's really hard to get the momentum going. You really just have to keep praying that God will move things, and really just talking to people and getting the word out there about all of this. Myspace is a great way to meet others in your area, and away from your area, who are interested in those things, or who would be willing to help you out. Just have faith, and perserverance, and everything will be just fine. Keep the faith!!!!!
