I have a side career as a "professional wrestler" (I quote it becase at $50 a night I hardly make enough to consider it a profession, more like a hobby). I play a religious zealot, which gets a decent reaction... think Jonathan Edwards (the Puritan who wrote Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God) mixed with Clint Eastwood's 'silent preacher' character.
Regardless it gets the Gospel into places it might otherwise not get... But I am starting to feel a bit one dimensional. There's just so many times you can talk about repentence and His forgiveness before it becomes boring... and I have seen my heat (crowd reaction) wane recently. Part of the problem may be my recent opponents' unwillingness to put over what I'm saying as scary.
Basically I am looking for advice on directions to take my character in. This has opened up a few (5 or 6 people have been saved because of this, or so they tell me) doors so I don't want to abandone the character nor do I want to do something that would harm the example I'm setting... which rules out 90 percent of the ideas people have given me.
Anyway....
Thanks for reading.
