• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sorry for invading, but as a sidenote, there are Tim Horton's here in Detroit. Just thought you would like to know. When I think of Canadians, I don't think of igloos, I think of hockey. I also think of how you drive in kilometers and not miles miles/per hour. I guess you have a different outlook of Canada, when you live next door.

Hey MotorCityChristian!!!!! I'm from Windsor!!!! Go Tigers!!! hee hee hee -sorry :D

Being from Windsor and then moving to Niagara Falls for a while I got to play with Yankees a lot. The border folks know us Canucks pretty well but the further south you go, the more fibs you can tell and get away with. ;)
I love being a Canadian so much that I was born on July 1st!!!! Killer fireworks on the Detroit river as MCC could attest to I"m sure. By the way, if you're going to fib, be a little more savvy- penguins are at the SOuth pole not the North. It's POLAR BEARS PEOPLE!!!

Ice Capp. The Canadian Drink.

They stole my name! Er, the Capp.... not the Ice. Ooooh, considering how much I detest winter, I'd hate to have that name. :D

Up here in the Yukon, we have igloos.... with central heating. ;) (ROFL) And all the mounties still wear their cool red uniforms.... (on November 11th...) And we constantly use sled dog teams to get around town.... :D Gee, me silly.

Lived here for 5 years, and I still know little about sports. Although I do cheer on one Edmonton Eskimo.... he graduated from the same high school I did, one year earlier, way down in Arizona. Yee-haw!

Canadians are Americans too. Canada is basically a territorty of the U.S.A.
 You're joking, right?

Why do Canadians always misspell words like "color", "favorite", and "center"? They teach spelling north of the border, right?
 Listen buddy, if you don't have anything nice to say at all, then don't say anything at all! :(
