Can't sleep

I don't know if anyone's out there, but I haven't been able to sleep. I heard about this scary movie, and even though I don't watch horror movies cause I scare easily, my stupid curiosity led me to at least check out the ending.

Now I can't sleep, and because I think in pictures, it's been staying in my mind. I've prayed and prayed but I still can't sleep. I'm afraid of having nightmares. I feel so alone. :_(

Sorry, don't mean to offend. I have a princess that gets scared as well. Sometimes takes half a night to settle her down. You doin' alright?

Yeah, I have a lamp on. I don't know what I was thinking. I guess I just thought "how scary can it be?" And then I remembered why I don't watch horror movies, especially found footage.

You know, that sub genre that looks like it was filmed with a handheld camera. Like the Blair Witch Project.

Oh, tell me about it. I read the plot online, and in the end two of the three filmmakers go into this old house cause they think they can hear their friend (You know how people in horror are usually stupid). And they're both holding cameras. You don't really see or hear anything, they're just going through this house looking for this guy, calling his name. One of them, another guy, goes into the basement. Then cut to the girl and her camera. She also goes to the basement and by now is really hysterical, just screaming. And when she gets there something kills her from behind, she drops her camera, and that's the end. I know I'm talking all casually about it but it was pretty frightening. I always thought that the things that scare you the most are the things you can't see.

Yep, that's frightening. Its true about things you can't see. I don't like deep dark water or holes in the ground for the same reason. Nearly have a heart attack when I see something down there, but then it's only a rock or a log or something. So far anyway.

I havn't had a good nights sleep in 30 years,can't say that I care anymore and I have gotten used to it,when I'm dead and buried I still expect to wake up a few times

Awesome mate. You need to hang onto that. Its what the first part of the Aaronic Priestly blessing means: The Lord bless you and keep you. Means that He gives you a gift and sets a hedge of thorns around you. Nothing can take you away from Him.

Haha, sometimes it happens for me too, if it's something concerning me or just something that freaked me out during the day like this.
