Did you know there is a bill being presented that will make it a law that restaurants cannot serve obese people.

Like that is going to happen!!!!! - All your big money people would squash that in a hurry.

It's in Mississippi where they are wanting to pass that law....mmmmm...I guess Mississippi is considered one of the most obese states...not surprised at that...traditional southern food is fattening...but...I don't have any plans on moving to mississippi anytime, soon!! No way...I think I might try to move to Israel or Canada if they try to pass this law!!

Imagine having scales in the lobby of an eatery LOL
And a tape measure to measure your height
Then some guy doing the math.
This is a stupid bill.


BMI is a terrible weigh to determine if someone is obese (has too much body fat for their height)
People that work out will have more muscle mass and of course weigh more because of that. They would be considered obese because of that even though their body fat percentage would be very low.

I would like this bill to be accepted . Not because it is something that I would want by itself - no . But , because of consistancy . This ranting has led to McDonald's removing of the "supersize" option of the value meal . If *I* am going to be neglected of things because of people being obese , those who are obese should be refused something , as well .

Or stupid people? Why should the smart people suffer through their school life with the stupid people dragging them down. There should be an IQ test prior to kindergarten. If you pass, your in, if not its child slave labor for the rest.

If you ask governments to step in, they will take a mile. Is it far from obese people having their children taken away, or they being placed in jail? Do you really want government baby sitting your life to that degree? I know I don't. There is whole populations of certain groups of people that have a tendency to be on the plump side, and because of that it could start looking alot like ethnic cleansing of the overweight. Who is going to determine who's overweight? Is it going to be judged by the looking of the eye? If they are going to use the current scale of muscle weight, vs. fat ratio, then even those that look thin can be considered overweight.

Man looks on the outward God looks on the heart.

It's the condition of the heart and the anxieties brought on by the "cares of this world" that have caused drug, alcohol, tobacco, food addictions, in the first place. People can't fix a void by adding the wrong thing to a place that these addictions can't touch. The void was created by God because it's in the God place that they are lacking and hurting.

No wonder when they took prayer outta the schools and the 10 commandments off the walls that this would happen.

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land.

We pay for these addictiions by the costs of the products we are addicted to and if not for the grace of God pay high medical bills because of the lasiviousness.

I say pray and put prayer and the Bible and the 10 commandments back where they belong and right the word of God on our hearts that we might not sin against Him and He will fix the rest. Man can't do it, they've tried! We've all tried and the answer is Jesus!

If we dont prevent preventable illnesses then people with emergency illnesses will die because hospitals cannot cope.

As the bible says, do not use freedom as an excuse to do wrong.
