Can't Seem To Get Organized

Or something along those lines...

This morning...while getting ready for work..I started by looking for my keys...I thought that they might be in the bathroom...

So while on my way there I seen that I didn't have any coffee made..so I made a fresh pot for my thermos..noticed that the Cocoa mix was left out and that the Thermos needed to be filled with hot water...so I filled them...

then I noticed that I needed some more coffee filters so I went to the closet to get some more..they weren't there..ahh they must be in the sideboard...so I went there...

"Oh lookit" there is that bill I have been meaning to pay...ahh well...don't know exactly where I left that checkbook...but here is that box of checks...oh yeah...the checkbook is out of checks anyway...now where did I leave that...I know...the bedroom...

So I head to the bedroom...but pass the laundry room on the way...notice that the clothes in the washer need to be put into the dryer...and the clothes in the dryer need to come out...so I take them to the chair in the living room to be folded tonight...and put the clothes in the dryer...clean the lint trap...notice that I am geting low on soap...ahh well ...another thing to pick up at the store...

I hear the coffee pot...oooohhh...a cup of coffee...a little warmer up in my cup...and that would be tasty right now...

where is my coffee cup...oh yeah...right there by the computer..fill the cup and I take a long gulp...yeah...that was good...but now...I gotta go poddy...so I head to the bathroom...

after finishing there complete with a coat of deoderant...I head to the bedroom knowing that there is something that I am supposed to be finding in there...hummm...oh yeah...the checkbook...there it is...

Now where did I put them checks?

Goodness...lookit the time...I gotta run to work now or I will be late...

Where are my keys?

I know the feeling, my husband and I are doing some light remodeling and painting around the house. Yesterday after we put a new mirror up in the bathroom, my husband asked me to get the glass cleaner. I left the room and a few minutes later I came back and handed him a glass of tea... then I looked at the mirror and said, I need to get the glass cleaner to clean that mirror. He looked at me and said, I asked you to get the cleaner, and you brought me a glass of tea. If I ask for a screwdriver, will I get a T-bone steak.
I didn't think I was that old.

Somehow I can just picture this at your house. You should be here somedays or a fly on the wall. Very entertaining trust me as I wander about saying hmmm now where did I put that? and where is the other thing I need? and did I do what I was supposed to do? OH who knows - I trust you found the keys my man!

Can totally relate. My wife and I both work full time, and are full time students. It seems like everyday can get a little harried for us. Try to se out thigs the night before. On e of our biggies is the coffee pot. All we gotta do in the a.m. is push a button. lol

Coffee filters go in the drawer directly below the coffee maker - right next to the instant coffee that I prefer. How many times do I have to remind you?

Checkbook, checkbook refills, and current bills go in the basket in the kitchen. That way, when you go into the kitchen for a new cup of coffee every hour, you will be reminded that you still haven't done the bills.

It's about as bad as I figured.

Don't worry Darlin', Kristie's on her way. She'll get you straightened out in no time...until we can get you a wife.
