Can't run, Can't hide.

[Cerulean_Butterfly]

She keeps running
Faster
She's so afraid to stop
What is she running from?
Who is she running from?
Is it anything at all?
The road won't end.
She can't get out
She screams
Why isn't she heard?
It has gotten her
Again
But what?
Battered and bruised.
Cut and confused.
She gets up and runs once more
Only to be captured again
For this awful thing she runs from
She cannot escape nor foretell
For this awful thing she runs from
Just happens to be...
Herself.

I'd love to know where you get your ideas from. It was an interesting ending. I want to know more... or is it vague on purpose? I hope this isn't what you're feeling about yourself. Well- keep posting. I'm seeing a pattern in your poetry.

Every one of my poems has something to do with a certain veiw I have of something. Whether it be, the world... myself... other people... ect ect. This certain poem deals with me. As does "Real Nightmare." I don't like to write meaningless things. Everything I write has some sort of meaning behind it. I won't give away what the meaning is behind this poem... you just need to look into it and around it, behind it... in between the lines so-to-speak. Find just exactly what meaning this poem has.

As for the question, where I get my ideas from... well... lots of different things... I guess it depends alot on how I'm feeling. I've written lots of poems about many different things. It just all depends on how I'm feeling that day.
