Depression is tough, I am glad to hear that you are getting some help. It takes time, but it can and will get better.

It sounds as if he may have some issues to work on himself. Without knowing him, one can only guess. However, I would say he is dealing with a lot of pain inside, and they way it manifest itself is by the comment that he made to you.

No, it doesn't make it right, but hopefully it may help you to understand what he did. The best thing you can do is pray for him.

I suffer form depression as it does take time and will be better only if you can find the right path to make it better. And that he is dealing with lots of pressure and pain and that he needs to lean on God to work it through him.

Just when I think everything might be getting better, that my prayers are being heard again, he threatens to take my daughter away from me.

He told me that if I come after him legally, a $100K lawsuit wouldn't be that much to him, but that it would paralyze me. When I told him that doing that would mean paralyzing our daughter as well, since I can't take care of her if I'm penniless, he said "if you are incapable of being a mom, she won't be with you."

How on earth could anyone say that to a mother? How could he say that?
