I wonder if humans with sexual problems (too much desire) would feel calmer if they were neutered?

It's obvious that the behavior of Australian possums is different than the behavior of American possums. From what I can gather from the research I've done, the Australian possum is extremely overpopulated. That may explain a great majority of the behavior you witness.

Then again, maybe Australian possums are using hazing as a means of population control. It would be more fun than being shot, trapped, and/or poisoned. Of course, possum condoms would be a lot better for everyone concerned... but that's a whole different expose
