Candy Cigarettes.

I recently found a place that sells these. I gave some to my kids and some people scolded me because they said it encourages my children to smoke. I disagreed and said it was funny. What do you think?

I started smoking at 11 years old because of popeye cigarettes.







Of course that there was a lie. I'm a bit mixed on this. Ultimately I don't think it matters.

When I was a kid, I loved chocolate cigarettes and have never been interested in the actual cigarettes.

I somewhat think its on the same level as toy guns, just cause kids play cowboys and indians with them doesnt mean they actually want to own guns and kill native americans when they grow up.

But I could see the arguement.

I've had them (still non-smoker), but in Ireland they were never marketed in anything that resembled a cig packet at the time, as far as I'm aware.

I also was given chocolate cigarettes when I was young, and loved them (they're CHOCOLATE!). Both my parents were smokers.

I don't smoke, nor do my kids.

We also had toy guns, and now own real ones; no desire to kill native Americans however (or anyone else).

Oh yes, there is a connection. I ate those and then turned into a chain smoker. I've quit now. I also ate raw meat dipped in mustard and I turned into a capitalist. I tell parents to give their kids candy that has no distinct shape, particularly candy that is shaped like a cylinder.

In any case, I don't think kids are that stupid.

There's better reasons to not give them the candy smokes...one of them being the huge amounts of sugar.

I'll bet that the people who think that eating candy cigarettes causes children to become smokers are the same people who think that video games cause children to become serial killers.
