I am asking for prayers for Roy. I attend church woth his daughter. He has cancer and isn't expected to live much longer. Please pray that God will relieve his pain, and that He will comfort Roy's family in these last days.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Father God we enter into your throne room with humbleness, declaring You majestic awesome love for us. I know we will never be worthy of the blood of Jesus but we are so thankful that You have send Your son for our salvation, healing and growth.
Father I am praying for Roy - my simple request is that Your will be done in his life, but Father please take away the pain, please keeps him as comfortable as possible.
Let Your holy angels surround him and make him aware of Your presents.
Father I ask for the family please strengthens them. Help them to cope with the situation and to see You in it. I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ - Amen
