hello i am sponge i do not believe in god can you pray so that god will help me believe in him

Hey, Sponge, I'd have to question that you're really an athiest, because you're taking a leap of faith here by even asking for prayer.

Yes, to some degree you already believe in God by requesting prayer. He's already drawing you to Him.

I believe that praying for you will not automatically make you believe in God. Only you can make you believe in God. Why are you an atheist? (answer this to yourself)
There are probably two main reasons for being and atheist:
Science: Is it because of science that you do not believe in God? If you do some recearch you will find that science cannot prove nor disprove God. So if you're looking for scientific evidence you're out of luck.
That you do not see God in the world: If there is a God how can there be so much pain and heartache? It's not God who does evil, it's evil people.
So it stands to reason that you can only learn God through your heart (not your brain).
God I ask you that you please take the neccesary steps to help this man, please God help this man. Amen.
