Can you help with this?

I've written about a dream I had a while ago before I became Adventist (I just got baptized last Sabbath ) and I still wonder what this dream could mean.

I wonder if you could help me with it?

I had a dream not too long ago that really, really disturbed me.

The next morning my son said something straight from the dream.

I'm not having any trouble figuring out what it meant, I'm having trouble dealing with the fact that it was so real, scary, and prophetic.

I read about your dream, and I'm really not sure what it means, but I'll think on it.

I think that if you don't think it is psychologlcal (which would be my first guess, and not something we could likely help you with unless you tell us alot more about yourself), that yo ushuld pray about it. Not ask people here.

Mine was truly frightening. It was about being pulled out of my house screaming for my children and I was told I could take two books, but when I reached for my bible...my hand was chopped off.

My children were screaming and I was bawling and begging for mercy for them.

The next morning my son said "they were mean about your books mom?"

I don't know if I talked out loud in my sleep loud enough for him to hear me or what....I just can't explain it, it was too too real.

I really cannot help you with your dream. I wish I had the gift of Joseph, but I don't.

I have had very real and vivid dreams throughout my life and they have always been just that--dreams. Those night images that are the result of our minds categorying (sp?-lol) all the input of the day.

I don't think I would place any prophetic meaning to it. After all--I used to dream I could fly--nope--never have yet--lol.

I can make a diffrence between dreams. The reason why I came to God and became Christian is because He started showing me things about the future. I did talk to my pastor about those dreams before I got baptised and he was "shocked". Those dreams match up with the scripture and before I had them I didn't know the Bible at all. About this one he wasn't sure. I know it wasn't just a normal dream. But maybe I should be more patient. Maybe it's not the time for me to know now.

I thought I could ask my brothers and sisters in Christ here. Doesn't the Bible say that some have dreams and some can interpret them? I think it does ;-). I was hoping that someone would be able to help me here but I didn't really think I would get an anser like from Mjona3. But maybe I misunderstood, at least that's what I hope.

I think that God does sometimes talk to us in dreams.

However, most of us He doesn't, and don't know anything about that. We just know about our own problems and issues, and it can be good to shrae, but we are not goig to be able to help if the dream is from God.

Now perhaps someone might be blessed with the dream, and someone else the interpretation, but you should find that person by prayer to God.

In general, dreams and visions are areas where some who are tricked, and into spiritualism, are involved with, and if you ask people in general you are liable to get that sort of assistance.

Even if you put it out there, pray to God about everything comment/etc, as it is only through His leading that things will be clear.

I've had dreams before that I'd instantly forget, but then something much later would spark my memory of what I had dreamed. That's always so weird.

I rarely ever have a dream that I remember the next morning. It's usually much later when I remember parts of it because something from the dream happens while I'm awake.

I NEVER dream when I'm in the middle of a college semester. My psych teacher said that's stress?

My i ask you what was going on in your life at the time of this.

Some Dreams are divinely inspired others are just expressions of the pressure and sub conscious feelings we have from our day to day experiences.

What does this mean?

After the church service me and few people went for a walk.

it seems that your dream is about church. it starts and end with church. walking is about a journey. were you thinking about going some place? Then you changed your mind? were you think about leaving??? were you a member of a church before being an SDA?

There was a steep hill

, was your journey / decision going to be a struggle require effort?

to the right of it was a cornfield,

cornfield nutturing and life giving. Adventism was birth in a cornfield.

to the left was a cliff.

something dangerous and causing death. was there some that was dangerous in you life at the time?

On top of the hill was a huge wall made out of stone.

stone is hard, unbending, permanate and cold, the the stone tablets of the 10 commandments?

In the wall were masks (made out of stone too) that had differnt expressions; some of them were crying, some were screaming, some were angry, some were laughing mean......We've never seen anything like that before and were wondering about them.

masks are for covering things up to pretend you are one thing when you are another. it also seems that someone tried to make the cold hard stone look like it was alive when it was not. real not fake

I went closer and took one mask out of the stone. I was holding it in my hand when it started moving its "face". I was shocked and put it back inside the wall.

what was it doing? something not alive coming alive. the apperance of life?

Right after that the earth began to shake for a few seconds.

I wanted to walk back to my friends and saw that an invisible hand was throwing them into the air. I was trying to help them but I couldn't.

was there confusion? were they up in the air about a decision they were to make? and you could not help them?

Some fell into the cornfield and they were ok

, how many?

some on the ground and there was blood

, did they die or just get hurt.

and some fell down the cliff.

died? how many? is the number important to you?

We were eight people and three have survived

. is 8 a signifacant number to you. 8 people? or something else. 5 died?

After that we went back down the hill to the direction of the church.

were you being warned to stay where you were?

*Yes. Around this time I was attending two churches. One was SDA Church and the other one was Assembly of God. I was praying about those churches and about what God wanted me to do. About which chruch I should choose? Which one would be the right one for me to go to. I thought, I should become a member of the Assembly but wasn't sure so I waited and prayed. But then I wasn't so sure anymore and I started becoming confused about the Assembly service. Some things just seemed not all right. I became closer to the SDA church and became a memeber.

Yes, there was. I don't really want to write about it.

The people that landed in the cornfield were alive....they stood up again, those that fell on the ground ( 3?) and down the cliff died (it was 2 of them ? ).

The numbers doesn't really mean anything to me. Nothing that I could think of.

Yes, they were warning me not to take the mask out the wall.


I think that it did have to do with the churches, the more I think about it the more it makes sense. That I was trying to help those people but I couldn't. This is basiclly what is going on right now.

This is something I'm still praying about. I don't want to just tell people about those dreams without having God's "ok".

I do understand how impotrant prayer is and I do pray about almost everything . I did pray about this dream too and that God would help me finding someone that would be able to help me understanding this dream. But.... I don't think that someone one day will knock on my door and say......"Hey I would like to tell you about your dream "
