What a sad way to believe. You left a church which taught you that we are all beloved children of of our Heavenly Father to worship a God who would burn eternally the same children. I just don't understand it, guess I never will.
I left a church run by men and listened to the Holy Spirit. I have an aversion to lying, anti-biblical teachings, and following false prophets who teach the doctrines of men. The Bible says we are NOT all children of God. We become his children.
John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
2 Corinthians 6
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
No matter how much a Christian loves and serves God, his service can never equal the love that God has poured out on us.
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
