Can watching an evil movie bring evil into your house?

I use to like watching horror and watched heaps, no more.
We have to think would The Lord be sitting there and watching evil as entertainment when all evil ran away from him. Would he say let's go and watch that movie or do Only will of God like He did his whole life.
If you are lover of God's will, think would Jesus have/ make /want to watch something that is lie or comes out of place what steals people's time in every way. I even now stopped watching animal shows. Why? Because why would Jesus waist time watching something that he created. Would he say let's go tell the people Good news of freedom of Sin or let's watch something I created Again.

I do not have a TV connection anymore, nor do I have any movies that are really entertainment. We only keep things that can help us strengthen and grow Spiritually (some sermons). Although since we still do some schooling at home, we have a few educational videos as well, but they are from a biblical perspective for the most part.

What we constantly put into our mind is what will begin coming out in our actions, desires and thoughts. We must choose wisely what we put our time into since that will begin to show where our heart's desires really are. Now that I have been away from the movies and television for so long, if I ever walk by a TV playing in the store or doctor clinic and overhear something it makes me surprised. I am not used to hearing such humor anymore nor other things that are on it. It really repels me now.

I like to go by these verses in what I put into my mind:

It depends on what you mean by evil I guess. Honestly I watch things I know some of my church family would be surprised to hear about but because I have such a close relationship with Jesus it doesn't affect me the way I see it do to some others who don't. I know a lot of people who believe watching evil movies bring it into your house, but I've never seen it in mine and between my siblings and I, we've watched a ton of movies that would probably be considered "evil".

I believe so. I heard a prophet say some movies have curses put on them and it allows demons to enter people's homes. we gotta pray to avoid that from happening

What is an evil movie? You mean an horror movie like "Saw" or a heavy deep movie that demonstrates parts of mankind that are truly evil like the recent movie "Lore"

it does in a very subtle way. Nowadays, its getting more explicit when it comes to gore bits and rape as well. These movies are one of the factors of having an increase number of rapists and murderers etc across the country. It would be called brain washing to non-believers. But I think its more like another evil spirit coming into your house, then your own spirit. Well that is my opinion..

Watching a horror movie won't invite demons into your house. Use of a Ouija board might, but not watching a DVD.

It depends on what u mean by "evil movies". Then again, If u really feel something is evil, why do u let it entertain you?

I'm outside the demographic, but I've seen dozens, if not over a hundred war movies growing up, and I'm not a Nazi yet.

If it's horror movies that you're talking about, then perhaps they could stick in someone's mind, that person will obsess over it, and then go downhill from there. Demons, being predatory, may just enter the picture to make it worse. But I personally believe that doing actual occult ceremonies will be far more of a demon-magnet.

It won't bring evil in the sense of something superstitious. But, it can bring evil such as introducing thoughts and ideas into your home and influencing you the wrong way.

A lack of faith, weak morals and a weakening spirit will lead to evil in your house. Not a movie.
