I believe in god but I don't believe in people, to many people use god to express their own beliefs and feelings and this has been happening all through history. Why would god not allow a firm atheist doctor in to heaven but a Hitler who asked for forgiveness, I think you can answer that question yourself.

So because I disagree with you or someone else there is something wrong with me. In other words I have two choices agree with you or I am an idiot. Hmm that doesn't leave much choice. What I said would be exactly the same as what any Christian would say. I just happen to not be worried about putting myself in the firing line. I,m big enough to take it. In fact I enjoy the banter. You just have to accept like I do and many others do that not everyone will see things the same way and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Even if you happen to disagree. In fact its quite unfair on your part to expect everyone to agree with your views. The difference between you and me is that I can accept that you have a different view even if I dont always agree with it and I wont put you down for it.

Thats fair enough and you have the right to have your opinion and so do I. I dont invest that much of myslef into these things. I dont take it poersonally apart from when people target the person and not the topic. I just enjoy the debate and see it like any other topic such as talking about politics, cars or antiques. You may say I am ignorant but then my beliefs are much the same as millions of other Christians who would disagree that God is evil. Somehow I dont think any of those would be agreeing with you either. But thats fair enough we have come to a point where we can agree to disagree and thats OK as well.

See thats why I debate these things sometimes because some people just get it wrong and dont understand what is being said. I can understand that at fist glance you may think this is the case. But its easy to jump to conclusions and get the wrong idea.

No I dont think there is anything wrong with you if you disagree. At least not in any derogative way. We just happen to disagree on belief. As a Christian I will defend my beliefs and try to let others see that God loves them and that there may be answers to what they are looking for. Its the same if someone believes that a certain diet is good for them. But if the person doesn't want to know I wont push that onto them. Some may do that but I think there is no sense because it may even push a person away.

I work in community services and have learnt that I have to accept all sorts of people and walks of life and not judge them. I can point out that their decisions may bring certain consequences but I cant make them do anything. I, m sorry if you feel that way but I may sometimes go on the defensive to stand up for my beliefs. But I dont intend to make out there is anything wrong with you.
