No I am not black although I was born and raised in Africa. Also I do not claim the same things you are. Tea Partiers are possibly the most ignorant of the Americans. They claim Obama is a Muslim, terrorist, Antichrist, socialist, communist who is hell bent on destroying the USA. Hardly the opinions of an informed people.

I don't think the majority of the Tea Party movment believes the more nonsensical claims listed above (trying to destroy US, terrorist, etc). But they do themsevles a disservice by not condemning those who do. When I hear Hannity respond to things like this by saying (paraphrase) "They must be liberal plants, there are liberals planted in our Tea Party to make us look bad!" instead of "Oh, wow, those people are nuts, we should get rid of them", welllll...

I kinda of stop taking the whole thing seriously.

Yes, I'm familiar with the paranoia, and am well-aware of Obama's evil, kitten-eating ways. Look at my .sig. He probably ate two or three kittens this very morning, and that was before his first of the five diurnal prayers to Mecca.

I don't know - some of those "adolescent computer geeks" have bested a lot of pretty smart people in some pretty high tech industries, corporations, and even the federal government over the past 20 years or so; and it's taking a lot of very smart people just to keep up with their destructive shenanigans...

It is the difference between building and destroying. How hard is it to design and build a skyscraper? Teams of people, with years of schooling, design skyscrapers to ensure the materials used and the design is safe, will stand for years, and is even resistant to neglect and even intentional mischief. Then there are the security experts who are hired to design systems that will keep people from illegally entering the building or from intentionally destroying the building, as well as those hired to make sure the building remains secure.

Now, how hard it to destroy a building? How smart do you really have to be to park a van full of explosives in the street and destroy the building (such as happened in Oklahoma City)? How smart do you really have to be to find weak points in a building and enter it without proper authorization?

And this is the difference between computer hackers and computer security. It is far easier, and requires far less brainpower, to attack a computer system than it is to defend it.

I must have missed all that hope and determination in all of the anger and hatred that was shown to people who disagreed with them.
