I was just talking to a Baptist minister last week and he positively said the Sabbath was fulfilled by the rest we have in Jesus. I just want to concur with you about what others are believing about the subject.

Would your baptist friend agree that marriage is fulfilled in Christ so no one needs to get married anymore?

I really doubt my pastor friend would consider the two practices (Sabbath observance and marriage) comparable, but I could ask him next time I see him. The point I was trying to make was many Christians do not consider any particular day they might gather to worship on as the Sabbath, as they consider it a fulfilled sign given to Israel.

Here is what God says about New Testament prophecies.

1 Thessalonians 5 20 22 Do not despise prophetic utterances. But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good.

Just test what is said and if it's good, keep it. If it's not good or maybe not for the time just keep it as information only. Why does God say this.

Because...1 Corinthians 13 8 9 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
