anyone on that can help me right now?
We're all trying!

Read back through this thread and see how many hearts you have touched, how people are praying for you and offering advice.

El Guapo sounds like he knows from experience. Listen to him.

I'd still say find a suitable counsellor, because you really need to talk this through face-to-face with someone and get some support. And find someone to pray for you, maybe with laying on of hands if available. (Caution there - NEVER get a male to pray for you alone. It should be a team or open service situation, but due to the nature of your pain, I'd say a woman would really be better anyway.)

Are you able to find these kind of people in your church, or in a friend's church that you can attend occasionally for a boost?

God bless, Susana

I don't want to make this sound too wierd but I am wondering if someone can help me. I lost my dad when I was four and haven't had a father figure in my life for many years now. I'm 17 and really hurting. I have begun to enter online chat rooms in search of someone who will fill that position but they all just want to hurt me and take advantage of me. I know this is a lot to ask of a stranger, but if there are any of you who could help me or are willing to try, please let me know. Thanks!

Dear waitingprincess,

When I was 12, my parents got a divorce, my father left and moved far away. Realizing I needed a father figure I looked to God because of what it said in my bible and what I knew of God.

God is there for you as well as me. As he provided that which I lacked from my own father, so he will for you if you ask of him. I'm having trouble saying this in a way that shows itself true: its very very simple yet almost unbelievable at the same time... God is the best father I could have ever asked for, he gave me more wisdom and guidance than is possible from any man. Would it have not been for my own father leaving and God replacing him in my life, I would not know what I know and relish in joy at the glory of God as I do. Nothing is sweeter in life and noone will look out for you better.

I will pray for you, that God does provide fatherhood for you. Be it a good male family friend or aquantence, or visions of glory: whatever you require I'm certain he will provide. Have faith waitingprincess and God Bless you.

Love.
