About the book of revelations, the coming of the end, and the mark of the beast

When will the Beast come to earth?

See, on that page? It says towards the end of days God will cause insurmountable destruction. It goes on to say

"Within a month or two after these four disasters occur, the beast will come. He will say that he is God and that people must repent of their sins and return to him. But he is not God. He is Satan and people should not worship or follow him."

So I don't understand. God loves us but he is going to cause global havoc before the coming of satan, who is going to trick people into believing himself as God.

Is it just me, or does this seem odd?

....wow...okay basically God is going to punish those who have not come to him for being stubborn and following the beast. As the bible states Lucifer will indwell the Man who would be the AntiChrist. God doesnt wish to harm his followers, but to teach the people who the real God is. He loves all but when the apocolypse occurs he will have had enough of human ignorance and degredation of Him. Thus he punishes us, just like a parent does a disobediant child

This what it says:

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Basically Christians will go through hardship but even if they die they will gain their rightful place in Heaven as Tribulation Saints.

Now mind you, many of the woes will not affect Christians. as stated here:

Rev 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

God loves all his children and everyone in existence, but at the time of the Rapture, his love will remain but not be offered to the unwanting, and thus those who deny him will be struck down. Sadly I cannot find the verse that dictates this at the moment but the point stands. The Lord will grant anyone a place in heaven as long as they accept Jesus' sacrifice and love him for it. Accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and mean it, then you will never have to worry about these things, for the Rapture will come and you will be free.

Greetings.

Actually, it could be Satan who causes the global havoc of the first
half of the coming tribulation, before he is cast down to the earth
mid-tribulation (Revelation 12:7-17). Jesus' unsealing of seals 2-6 of
the tribulation (Revelation 6:3-14) could simply be him allowing Satan
to bring about those events at that time, just as God allowed Satan
at a certain time to bring all sorts of havoc upon Job (Job chapters
1-2). And after the seals, angels sounding the tribulation's first six
trumpets (Revelation 8:7-9:13), which destroy one-third of things,
could simply be God allowing Satan to destroy one-third of things at
that time, just as God will subsequently allow Satan to cause one-
third of the angels to be cast down to the earth mid-tribulation
(Revelation 12:4-17).

And after Satan comes down to the earth with all of his fallen angels
mid-tribulation, it will be Satan (the dragon) who will then empower
a man (the beast) to become the Antichrist and to rule the whole
world during the second half of the tribulation, and to make war
against the church and physically overcome it in every nation
(Revelation 13:4-18, 14:12-13, 20:4, Matthew 24:9-13). God will
merely permit this to happen, just as God permitted some in the
early church to be physically overcome by Satan through
persecution by the Roman emperors (Revelation 2:10). God allows
such things to happen to the church because death is no loss for
those in the church, but even gain, for when their bodies die, their
spirits go into heaven to be with Jesus (Philippians 1:21,23,
2 Corinthians 5:8). And all suffering by those in the church before
they die will be greatly rewarded for all eternity (2 Corinthians
4:17-18, 1 Peter 4:13, 2 Timothy 2:12).

The Antichrist and his miracle-working False Prophet (Revelation
13:11-18, 19:20) will deceive the whole world (except for the elect,
Matthew 24:24, Revelation 13:8) into worshipping Satan the dragon
(Revelation 13:4). God will allow this as a punishment, and will even
himself send a strong delusion upon the unelect (2 Thessalonians
2:11, Romans 9:18b) to make sure that they will believe the lie and
end up being damned for their unbelief and their unrepentant sin
(2 Thessalonians 2:11-12).

But the deception wrought by the Antichrist and his miracle-working
False Prophet could be more subtle than them just saying "Let's all
worship Satan". Instead, Satan could be worshipped as "Lucifer".
The Antichrist and his False Prophet could teach the Luciferian lie
that Lucifer is the true God of mankind, while YHWH, the God of the
Bible, is the true "Satan", the true "Adversary" of mankind. The
Antichrist and his False Prophet could moreover teach the lie that
Lucifer is the true Christ, for Lucifer is the morning star (Isaiah
14:12), and Christ is the morning star (Revelation 22:16). The truth
is that Lucifer fell from his office of morning star (Isaiah 14:12) and
became Satan (cf. Luke 10:18); Jesus has taken over the office of
morning star (Revelation 22:16). But the Antichrist and his False
Prophet will contradict the Bible; they will teach the lie that Jesus is
not the Christ (1 John 2:22), and will teach the lie of Gnosticism
that Christ has not become flesh (1 John 4:3). God has allowed
these lies to be on the earth ever since the first century (1 John
2:18, 2 John 1:7) as a way of, by contrast, setting off the truth
(cf. 1 Corinthians 11:19) that Jesus is indeed the Christ (John 20:31)
and that he has indeed become flesh (Romans 1:3).

The Antichrist (as a Luciferian and a Gnostic) will utterly revile YHWH
(Revelation 13:6, Daniel 11:36) and turn the whole world (except for
the elect) against YHWH. But because most of the world thinks of
Jesus as a good guy, the Antichrist could teach that Jesus is a good
guy who is separate from YHWH. (The False Prophet could even claim
that he is Jesus returned to point the world to the true Christ.) Near
the end of the tribulation, after the Antichrist has ruled the whole
world for three or four years (Revelation 13:5, Revelation 12:11-12),
all the armies of the world will be deceived by demons into gathering
together in an attempt to fight a great battle against YHWH
(Revelation 16:14-16). How surprised they will be when they see the
true Jesus, Jesus the Christ, returning bodily from heaven to the
earth to defeat the Antichrist and his False Prophet, and all the
armies of the world (Revelation 19:19-21). Jesus will then set up his
millennial kingdom on the earth with the resurrected church
(Revelation 20:4-6, 5:10, 2:26-29).

Revelation is a difficult book to read because its apocalypic way of coding things is not part of our way of talking. Since few people - even those who claim expertise in this book - have done a thorough job of going back and understanding how 1st Century Jews read and wrote apocalyptic material you are likely to get more wrong answers to this question that right ones. I'm not going to add to that.

Hi Apersonsaperson,

Did you ever hear the statement, could not see the forest for the trees? The Book of Revelation is full of symbols, and libraries have hundreds of books devoted to "end times" explanations. Some people get sidetracked into endless speculation about end times, and miss the real point of the Book, the revelation of Jesus Christ.

While I believe the return of Christ is "imminent" meaning He could come tonight, I believe the Bible teaches we are live our lives one day at a time and not "borrow" problems from the "future." So the Book of Revelation still has a lot to teach us about today and how we should live today. One of the things is we have been forewarned, the next actual miracle worker on the scene will not be of God, so do not be taken in by those who claim to be miracle workers.

Another is we have been blessed with the opportunity to trust in Christ before His return, so do not miss out on the blessing.

That is what some book says.

It is wrong on some accounts. However, bad things do happen to bad people.

As for that saying "God does not love you": anyone who has children or have observed parents with children know that children sometimes can not get what they want and are punished.

As for God "tricking people", no, people deceive themselves because they refuse to believe the truth and instead believe lies.

So I don't understand. God loves us but he is going to cause global havoc before the coming of satan, who is going to trick people into believing himself as God.

God is a judge of this world (He made this world). For uknown to us reasons this world was condemned to destruction. God said that He will destroy the wicked out of the face of the earth. God made the world, He made the rules and He doesn't want the wicked to be in His world. For lack of better information, this seems reasonable to me.

I mean, if there is ever to be a paradise, it's not POSSIBLE for it to continue to be a paradise as long as there are wicked people around. They will always mess it up for others. So the only way to make a paradise where everybody is loving and good is to only keep that kind of people in it. This is just my thinking (I think).

But, God has always accomplished His plans THROUGH people. So, it is VERY possible that the destuctions will be caused my men themselves (for example, by thinning the ozone layer so that the sun will scorch people), or earthquakes (because of something we did to the earth) or black holes (because of some scientific experiment gone wrong) or demonic beings here on earth in visible form (because people are now into communicating with demons whom they call spirit guides and are into yoga, trances and meditations, talking to dead, ghost business - in other words, tapping into a spiritual world they know nothing about. )
So yes, satan will reign here on earth for a short time, but it's because people have let him in by their actions, by opening the doors to the spirit world.

I believe that God takes credit for some of the bad stuff only to show that He is in control and He simply allows people to do this to themselves (in order to accomplish His purposes to destroy the wicked out of the face of the earth). So the people should not be really upset with God because they'll be causing their own destruction. But like I said, God will stand back and allow it to happen so that they could destroy themselves, in order to make room for a new world to come.

He will also send natural disasters (and I think that people MIGHT be responsible for that too by upsetting the balance of the earth, starting with ozone layer). But God can use bad for the good. So God will use these disasters to cause some people come back to God. Because when doom comes, people start thinking about God more. And this way, He'll be able to save a few of them.
