After I place that last qustion on why did God not destory Satan, A new qustion just pop into my head.

Can Satan ever be forgiven for what he has done and be allowed back into heaven?
Of course, God forgives all who repent and trust in Jesus to pay for their sins, but since we know that Satan ends up in the Lake of Fire, we know the God who is Omnipotent knows that Satan will never repent.
So yes God would forgive Satan,
but no, Satan would never do that.

I don't believe so, no.

[bible]Mark 3:28-29[/bible]

Satan has spent an eternity knowingly and willfully committing the one unpardonable sin.
I would be glad to agree with you, but I am unaware of any place in the Bible where the devil blasphemes the Holy Spirit.

The OP is basically a philosophical one. Asked another way: Would God forgive anybody, evil the devil.
My answer is yes, if they repented.
I don't think the OP really cares about whether the devil goes to heaven or not.

Can Satan be forgiven? Well really, it's one of those trick questions. God can do anything. But will the devil be forgiven? No.

Satan's will is permanently fixed on rejecting God. He doesn't want to be forgiven and never will, so he can never be forgiven.

It's kind of like asking "can concrete ever go back to being a mixture of Portland cement and rock?" The answer is no, the mixture has undergone a permanent change.

Don't you hate it when that happens ;)

Can, or Will?

They are very different things, it may be an issue of "Yes" to the CAN.
And "No" to the WILL.

But in the end of things, I have no clue, if anyone is forgiven or not, I am not even 100% sure if I am forgiven, so, I am not going to spend my days worrying about someone else salvation, if they have sought forgiveness from God, or if they repented, and God had forgiven them. That in the end, is between them and God.

So, Why did God not Destroy Satan, That would be an issue between God and Satan, I guess, I could also ask why did God let me live this long and do all the things I did.

I have no idea.

And I am not complaining that God has found and given me the Grace of each day I have, even if I make mistakes, and commit sins, and do things wrong, God had chosen not to splatter me from existence, so I guess, in that front, maybe God has not done the same to Satan, for the exact same reason.

What do we really know in the end of things.

God Bless

Hello there....

After I place that last qustion on why did God not destory Satan, A new qustion just pop into my head.
IMO, because God has a plan, which has Satan fulfilling the negative part of that plan, and that plan is not complete until after the 1000 year Millennium, which has not happened yet...

Satan is in heaven right now....just not the happy side...

Satan will be cast down from heaven soon enough and then we shall be in the Final Hour...

Satan can never be forgiven for what he has done.....according to Rev12 and other scriptures, he rebelled against God and 1/3 of God's created children followed him in that rebellion...this was in the age before this flesh age, called "before the foundations of the world" in many places in the scriptures...

Satan has been sentenced already, and is going into perdition (hence he is called the son of Perdition)...he will perish completely, be blotted out of existence with all his fallen angels and all souls that follow him instead of God...this will only happen at the end of the Millennium. See Ez 28 for more on him....

Angels are incorruptible, but not yet immortal....
the immortal part is the resurrection of the dead....being part of the first Resurrection (elect and dead in Christ)....or for some others after the Millennium (at Judgement) the second resurrection or the second death...

1st death=that of the flesh body
2nd death=that of ones soul...which only God can do.
Lake of Fire=soul death...

1st Resurrection= for those who have overcome before the Millennium (return of Christ)dead in Christ and elect on earth...

2nd Resurrection= for those who overcome at Judgement after the 1000 year Millennium.

I already posted an answer to this, but in light of some of the succeeding posts, I wonder if Hebrews 6:4-6 might be applicable to this question?

"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance..."

The context has nothing to do with the devil, but I think the principle may be applicable. Think of it this way- Satan/Lucifer once enjoyed all the benefits and glory of heaven. He knew God intimately ( and still does I suppose), and yet chose to reject the love and joys of that relationship. Now, for who knows how long, Satan has sought to destroy and tear down anything that God does. He is indeed, the enemy of God. He has committed incalculable crimes against God and His creation. And, God has sealed his fate.

The Lord Jesus came as a messenger of God's love to men. His purpose was to show man the joys of God's love because they had not experienced it firsthand. They had not yet partaken of heaven and the glories therein. Their "rejection" and subsequent "fall" was without the full knowledge of what they were rejecting, which reminds me of one of Jesus' statements as he was hanging on the cross: "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Therefore, God chose to have mercy on men, sending Christ to provide the necessary means for re-establishing a relationship with God.

Satan and the fallen angels were fully aware of what they were rejecting. God will have no mercy on them.
