Can one have conversations (via thought) with their "personal angel"?

As long as the 'communication' is checked against teaching and its in line...then its all good.

If your angel told you to kill, hurt, or attack others...or disobey the Lord, then worry.

i too had angels keep me from death. once while driving with my family on the expressway from florida to illinois i fell asleep and woke up on the other side of the expressway with a semi coming straight at me. We actually crashed into a bridge and all walked out of it without a scratch. Right before the impact i seen a huge light circling the car and heard wings flapping and i KNEW that a bunch of angels were surrounding the car, i heard them. Anyhoo...when the police got to the scene they were in utter shock that we were all ok and not even hurt..they said we have seen this same accident before and there is always someone DEAD and the others critical condition. Our car was totalled, smashed to smithereens and the windsheild was shattered all over our laps yet not one of us even had blood or anything on us. it was amazing. And ..no i dont share this story too often because people would think me crazy.

I think you should share your story. Its amazing! Praise God for our Angels. And you received a special gift by seeing and hearing them. I think the Angels get a kick out of us humans sometimes, by our way of thinking. I think we are all a little crazy at times

You definitely have one Tigg. I don't hear mine in any way. But I speak to him every night and morning because we all have a guardian angel. Sometimes it isn't necessary that the communication be both ways. His job to protect you from demons and anything else bad that isn't according to God's will. But, we are supposed to thank them and ask for their protection. Someone here already posted a nice prayer. I would suggest using that daily and nightly. It may not ever open up two way communication, but as my priest told me, "they like that."

Thank you. I do have God and my St. Michael. Will again try inclusion of my GA in my prayers. I sure hope (but sincerely doubt) my GA doesn't get peeved off.

However I really don't want to bother my GA. Maybe suntanning or something. Who knows except God and my GA. I have literally no experience to relate about him/her/it (a thought - maybe an alien...) However my daughter does.

She tripped and fell off a high pier with rocks below. Falling from a very high height and onto jagged rocks would have killed her. Except she felt a very strong push from her front which hurled her backwards onto the pier. No one was there visiblely so either it was God or her angel. In either case, thank you Lord.

Of course you can. It is all through scripture! Most of the people of the scripture have at least one encounter with angels.

I believe in guardian angels...I've never seen or heard mine, but I believe he's there. There were some times when I can say that the angel was involved, because I should have died but somehow survived.. and there are probably soo many times when the angel protected me from demons and spiritual attacks. Really I don't think I realize how much angels do for us. I sometimes ask my angel to pray for me, and to protect me..and one thing I do a lot is I ask God to send down His angels and protect someone who is, driving in dangerous weather, for example. And I really believe this works.

Lately I've been really interested in St. Michael too, wow he sure seems like a powerful angel and a defender of the Church!

That He is. He is One whom also talked to St. Joan of Arc, and is a GREAT inspiration and help to Me. They have such beautiful statues of Him in France at Her Churches , Ive seen em.I was awe struck by St Michaels statues.....

St. Michael and St. Joan of Arc are at the top of my list too. I just watched a documentary about her on EWTN last week.
