If you had one day left to live...what would you do with it?

I would do what I do now. Spend time with what is most important: God first and then my family. I once heard a woman telling a story about her mother who had died. She passed away never having eaten off the 'fine china' she was saving for a special day and she never wore the 'dress' she had brought years earlier waiting for that special day. It caused me to think and reevaluate some things...so now...I don't buy dishes I can't eat out of today or buy a dress to hang in the closet for years. If I buy it, then I must wear it.
The point is living everyday as if it were the last.

you got to be kidding?? that is so insightful my dear watson!!! Pie...yes, yes, yes and can I begin with apple pie with vanilla ice cream, then a good homemade peach pie and pecan and boston cream and what the heck, give me all the ice cream pies and then a homemade sweet potato that can never be made right unless its Thanksgiving or Christmas and yes I LOVE PIES...oooohhh I almost forgot KEYLIME...

I brought a laptop computer from ebay once last year but to be honest, I am a Amazon girl. I love that place.

Every December 12, we take my Mom to the Angus Barn which is a really great but expensive resturant..our tab is usually around 200.00 and then we let her go to the mall and pick out a dress and then dessert at the Cheese Factory so in all with flowers, cards and gas and little extra touches I'd say around 500.00 give or take a dime !!

Funny you should mention this?? My sons and I am calling around now to adopt a dog. We want a really cute puppy we can raise. Of course with 3 sons, I am bombarded with a cry for a 'fierce' dog, but little ole me wants a small dog so I'll let you know who wins.

I haven't quite decided, I think I would like to be an RN but for now I am doing Medical Office Administration

My guilty pleasure and favorite past time is shopping at Wal-Mart. Yep...can't get enough of that place. Fortunately, being on a student budget, I can't do it so much that it sends me bankrupt but about 4 times a year, I am the one holding up the line with one of everything in the store (sorry)

ohhhhh...on my last shopping trip, I brought an IPod and yep filled it with my gospel collection and that has become my all time favorite thing to do now is put it in my pocket and listen between classes and everywhere...wonderful gadget.

Looking ahead - what's something new and different you'd like to accomplish in the next 5 years?

Lord willing and allow it to be so: I plan to move to the beach and go to the college there and enjoy getting old and enjoying nature and still learn new things. I also want to travel a bit and attend some conferences and such...
