Loki,

He loves you...of course you can be a Christian...you just have to grow in your knowledge in the Word of God...not all Christians know everything. Okay, so there are some things about God that we do not understand, but other people may, because they've learned about it while studying the Bible...etc...But judgement day has to come no matter what....we cannot go to heaven without being judged.....but with Christ our sins can be forgiven..... Loki...I used to be so scared of Satan and his demons....but now I have enough faith to put my life in God's hands......Our faith grows everyday. God will punish because he said He will. He has done so much, but still people do not care, and they just keep on sinning....They love evil, and the Lord cannot be in the presence of evil, because He is Holy....Okay, so Satan is the King of Lies, the Evil one, and whoever loves to follow his ways, are obviously not following God. It's not like there's three places to go after death....We only have two choices, it's either heaven or Hell....At first it was just Heaven....and there was no sin in man, but after Adam and Eve ate the fruit their eyes were open to good and evil, and they knew the difference....so we will be judge by what we do, and of course if we take Jesus Christ our Savior we will be saqved. All we have to do is believe, because he has already died for our sins....God did not send His son to die, just so people can reject him, but so that people will be saved. That's why everyone should read the Bible and find out the truth by theirselves.....believe that Jesus Christ has saved you....because even the demons tremble:
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. James 2 :19

Of course you can become a christian!!!!! God loves everyone, and will accept ANYONE, no matter what your past is. You just have to believe, and confess, and it doesnt matter what you have done or believed in the past, it is washed away.
Isnt that awesome? :)

There are people in my church who have been in cults, been prostitutes, into drugs and very promiscuous sex.. And god loves all of them. There is nothing that could have done that god will not forgive you for when you accept him.

I pray that you will accept him into your life :), you will not believe the difference it makes in your life.

God bless

What I mean to say is that I would like to be a Christian, but my brain gets in my way. I struggle with the idea of God being all powerful, but not over-powering Satan and thus destroying the evils and trials we face. Why does God throw people into an eternal lake of fire instead of forgiving us? I personally would never do that to anybody. Have any of you ever seen anybody like me turn to God?
Thank you,
Loki

Loki, you can become a Christian. I myself still struggle with questions as well. Perhaps I always will. However, I know that Jesus Christ is real and I have made Him Lord of my life and I know that I will never regret it. He is amazing and if you let Him into your life, he will change you for the better like you could never have dreamed possible.

Everyone is like you before turning to God. The human mind is incapable of completely understanding all the mysteries of God. But it is when God Himself opens our eyes to Him that all the intelletual problems are cast aside. When God is actually met, there is no reason to debate Him.

God is going to overpower Satan, it's just in His time not ours. And all evil will be destroyed after the final battle.

God does forgive, it is those who walk away from God that end up in Hell. His forgiveness is out there for you, but you have the freedom to walk into Hell instead.

We all deserve Hell because we have all sinned against God. It's not amazing to me that many end up in Hell, what's amazing to me is that any of us end up in Heaven!

Hey loki2004,

I can totally understand what you are saying. It seems hard to imagine a merciful God who would make people burn in an eternal hell fire. The wonderful thing is that that is not the fate unrighteous have. Romans 6:23 states that the result of sin is death. If someone is in hell forever, then they don't experiance eternal death. Does that makes since? The true hell is eternal seperation from God in that death. God does not want to turn any of His children away. That is why He is continually calling us to come to Him. He would long for all of His children to join Him in eternity. However, He also loves us so much that He is willing to give us the freedom of choice, which, unfortunatly means that not everyone will choose to love Him. It's sad. It's sad to us and it's sad to God too. But, unfortunatly, that's the way it is.

I hope this helps to answer your question. If it doesn't feel free to PM me anytime. Have a wonderful day!! God Bless!!

Loki, dear friend, whom God has died for...soon you may turn to God...it is something that sometimes needs much thought, yes...but I believe that you can if you wish to be the change you want to see. If we turn to Christ, God will gladly forgive us. If someone is drowning, you will try to save them, but if they punch you in the face and knock you out, how can you save them? God came to earth as Christ and he is trying to save you, don't punch him in the face and go to that lake of fire. He doesn't want that, but so many people are knocking out his teeth instead of running to him. It's not his fault that we don't turn to him and take his hand. He loves us and died for us to show us that love, but if we don't accept the free gift that he is trying to give us, we will perish, but it will not be because of something he did not do. With love, Lauren

Hello all. Praise the Almighty Lord.

Now, I'll address the Hell question you have.

God gives everone chances to serve him. If you've never had the oppuratunity to learn about him, he will ressurect you and teach you all about him. If you still don't obey, then you'll be thrown into Hell.

He forgives you, but he knows when you hate him. He knows that if he brings you to Heaven full of hatred and no love for him, that would be a giant mistake. So God gives all chances to serve him. If they don't, then they simply hate him.

Now, here's my answer to your main question.

Of course God will forgive you! Go to him. Settle all issues you may have with someone and be full of love for him. Tell Jesus that you want to be forgiven. Here's a model prayer. Say this with all sincerity, or say something similar:

Dear Lord Jesus. Most high over the Earth. Full of glory, love, and forgivness. Jesus, I love you, most Holy. I ask that you spread some of your forgivness on me, Lord. Forgive my sins, Lord. I love you, you can sense all things and I know that you know that I do.

I'm making myself available for any plans you have for my life. Please help me grow as a Christian, Lord Jesus. I know that you preformed the greatest act of love, dieing for me, a sinner. I love you Jesus, please take control over my life. Please, I know that I can't reach your most Holy standards. But please, help me try my best. Help me be the person you want me to be. I praise you, most high!

In your name. In Christ's name. Amen.

After saying this prayer or somthing similar with all sincerity, you will be saved. Once saved, always saved. God knows that we can't achieve his Holy standards, but if we try, this will please him very much.

Make sure not to fall back into your old life, because God has plans for you, my dear buddy. He has seen fit that now is the time to turn you into a Christian, hence the eagerness.

Take this seriously, my buddy! Don't fall back, but walk forward and keep close to God by means of prayer.

PM me if you have any questions or need to know more. I'll tell you what is in store for you, and me, and every other sincere Christian out there. We get to go to Heaven! Yay! ^_^

May the most high over Earth, the most Holy, bless you.

We praise you, highest and holiess over the Earth! May your grace shine on us, and on loki2004!

Think about this...If God over-powered Satan then there would be no right to choose, and therefore, we would be like robots. God wants us to love him without you being forced to love him. For example would you want someone to love you because they truly want to love you, or because they have no choice but to love you. God is Love and He loves each and everyone one of us, and He does not want to throw people into an eternal lake of fire, we choose our own destiny. If you choose to serve Satan and not God then you are choosing an eternal lake of fire; however, if you choose God, then you have chosen an eternal life. To answer your other question...Yes, I have seen people worse than you turn to God. I pray that you will seek God in prayer and in His word.

My prayers are with you!
