Can I ask for help too

I know this is a Non christian area but it suits the problem I am having. I have struggles about God and even have my doubts.Well everytime I ask for help on my problems I feel like I am not a christian like my questions are from an atheists point of view and I am definitally not an atheist. My boyfriend Mike thinks that this may be the devil putting thoughts like that in my head. WHAT SHOULD I DO? well bye bye GOD BLESS YA

Your boyfriend may be right about Satan wanting you to doubt your being a Christian. That's why Christians don't look to themselves for assurance but instead to the cross where salvation was won for us. Looking to Jesus and the forgiveness of sins, you are sure to know that God forgives you and you are His child.

Hi BaptistGirl, welcome, I would suggest just share everything with the Lord. Also, read some good christian inspiring books to help build you up in the faith. Being Catholic, I love to read the lives of the Saints, I find that very uplifting. So. share everything with Jesus and read some articles/books from deep loving Christians, God bless.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having doubts. The wrong thing to do would be to ignore those doubts and not look for answers to those nagging questions. You will have to actively look for the answers, don't just let the doubts undermine your faith. I notice that you are fourteen...I have a 16, 13 and 11 year old. They have lots of questions as well. It's very common to go through a time period of questioning and doubting. What you are doing is taking ownership of your own faith. You want to know what you believe and why you believe it. I'm not sure if you like to read or not, but I could recommend some very good books for you to read. I have also posted several sites to browse through that have answers to lots of the questions and doubts that people have regarding Christianity. I hope they will be of help to you.

When you say that sometimes you feel like you are not a Christian, does that mean that you are not sure if you have trusted in Christ as your Savior?

You are growing up and you need a grown up faith. Foget the Devil. Honest questions need honest answers.

Have a look at bethinking.org, veritas.org or rzim.org. Ther is great material there. But beware, unless you have broadband downloding will be slow, as the files can be large.

As the saying goes: "if the cap fits, wear it", i.e. face facts about yourself.

If your thinking is like those who don't know God, maybe you don't actually know him yet yourself.

Just knowing about God is NOT the same . . . remember the tree of knowledge is NOT the Tree of Life.

Have you actually received the Holy Spirit B-girl ?
Please don't assume that you have, please read Acts 8v5-16, the people believed but still needed to actually receive what Jesus gave all his disciples:-

"they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2v4, 33, 39).

After that the disciples were changed people !
So will you be !
