That feeling that you don't belong in this world? It's because you don't belong to this world. Paul wanted to move on, but chose to remain. God says above all perseverance is the key. It's a war of attrition, with the benefit of knowing who wins in the end. May that be our strength in a life time of trial.

Well, I tell you, God and I have been butting heads the last few years because of this very thing. Frankly I've had it too, but whatcha gonna do? Deny Him? Honestly, since I've confronted Him about it, it seems to have backed off.

He is a Father in addition to the Most High God.

Just like responsible and decent human fathers/parents, if you approach them and confront them about a matter (with respect), they will likely treat you differently (namely: like an adult). The "matter" may not change, but understanding between the parties can go a long way - especially when one of the points is endurance.

And the people I've trusted most in my life, are all gone.

Ideally, you would have billions of brothers and sisters to talk to - all at different level of faith in the Most High God perhaps - while you are reconciling what you are going through. That is an Edenian time/when He comes back. Ultimately, you will have to have a conversation with Him yourself, but relish in the opportunity to be able to network to those of us who can help, and may even provide insight on similar experiences we have been through.

In other words, you aren't complaining (IMO).

Oh I'm sorry were you complaining? I thought you were trying to figure something out.

And having swam in the cesspool (still am actually) it's something I'm trying to figure out too.

I don't doubt what you heard. I just question who actually spoke it. These days it's hard to tell the imposters from the real deal. Especially spiritually.

So in return for your blessing upon me, may I pray in the Name of Jesus that the Holy Spirit gift you with discernment and wisdom. And that we both may use such wisely.

I sense God all over you too. Else you wouldn't care and you wouldn't be here looking for an answer. There's just a lot of other static interfering with the signal from Him. Like when two radio stations overlap. You just have to figure out who's broadcasting what. The gift of discernment will help with that. May the Holy Spirit empower you with it.
