Can Devil read your heart? What is your opinion?
In my opinion Devil cannot read our heart, but our Heavenly Father, His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit could read what’s in our heart. But it’s possible for the Devil to saw some seed in our heart which will lead us to sin like lust, hatred etc. Devil is always looking on us to hear what we say and act on it accordingly. Hence it is advised not to utter negative words which are against our faith. That is why the Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, 10- ‘If you declare with your lips, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For we believe in our hearts and are put right with God; we declare with our lips and are saved’. To proclaim with your mouth is to make the Devil aware of your faith in Jesus. The Devil can’t fight with you then and he has no other alternative other than to flee from you as he knows that you are the property of Jesus.

We know for sure God knows our heart even better than we know. So it is wise to keep our heart mind and sould fill with the love of Jesus and choose to be led by the Holy Spirit and deny the flesh then satan will not be able to take control of what belongs to God unless we allow him to. So we really have to be read up and prayed up and believed up as much as we can so when satan comes around we will have the strength to refuse to let him come in.

The concept of the devil is in the most religions that exist on earth. But to answer the question first is to understand his nature. The devil was a teacher of the angels before ADAM (Peace Be Upon him) was born and had the highest rank among them. And when Adam pbuh was born he understood a lot about him as well and thus mankind. Adam pbuh was God's new creation made out of clay and given a soul. He was taught things which even the devil did not know of. As a test of the obedience of the angels God ordered all to bow before Adam. All did but the devil did not. When God asked him the reason, he replied that he was superior to Adam because he was made out of fire and Adam was not. So God because of the devil's envy banished him from the heavens. To test the rightiousness of men of God he asked permission from God to mislead mankind by luring them into sin . God gave him that permission and thus all that has been happening since then is that he makes sins attractive for us but cannot force us to commit them. He can not read our minds only God can but when one of his traps fails he uses another. A few holy people survive his attacks and remain pure and righteous. By gaining knowledge of our faith we can defeat him, if we remain illiterate and leave things to preachers our world will become a hell if it's not already. Remove envy from our hearts as well. Our judge is not this world and its people, governments or the courts, it is God.

If he devil could push our buttons we'd all be in sin but the fact is that he can only lure us. If we don't let ourselves be misled we are the winners and that requires meditation, prayer and rememberance of God at all times.

I don't think that Satan can. I think only God and Jesus and the H.S can. I don't think he can read your mind or thoughts either, and I also think that the angels and demons are similarly restricted.

Welcome to cf, I think the devil might know if one is truely a believer or not, I don't think he knows our hearts, in the same sense God does. I think circumstances and situations kinda gives him a good Ideal what we might be thinking. and he throws it at us, to see if we will fall for his bate.

Proclaiming Jesus as Lord hardly keep you safe from the attacks of the devil. But, to answer your question. No, I don't think the devil can read your heart. Nor can he read your mind. He is a created being and doesn't have the same kinds of powers and abilities as God.
