Can anyone justify this?

I'm wondering if any Christian parents can justify forcing religion upon their children. I see it in so many households its unbearable. Children are being tricked by their parents into believing that if they do not believe in God or Jesus they will burn in hell forever. I was also brought up this way but thankfully I was able to break through the brainwashing. As far as I'm concerned it is child abuse to force religious beliefs upon a child from such a young age and limit their thinking drastically.

Since the truth is they are born in their sins and need to be reconciled and forgiven by God, who did all the work necessary and offers it freely, then it would be abusive if we did not make our children fully aware of their reality and left them ignorant and in their sins.

It's your reality as well, btw.

Listen, parents don't see this as tricking their kid, that sounds hardcore. They're trying to influence their own beliefs onto their child that they brought into this world. So of course they can raise them however they like. If they believe in a certain religion, of course they want to raise their children in that religion, to be like them. Its not a big deal. I wouldn't raise my christian hindu if I'm a christian. That's just nonsense. But if they harm you or abuse you, that's another story. That's not exactly moral either, unless you're a bad child who almost killed your own sibling. Then yeah, you probably need a spanking.

You and believe in universal death. Everything on this planet is going to die someday. The Gift of God is eternal life. What's wrong with believing that and sharing that with the kiddos?
So I left the Hell part out - you still agree there's death, you got a better answer?
