Can a Homosexual be a Christian?

All those in sin, should ask for forgiveness.
Receive Jesus as their Lord and Master.
Believe that he died to pay their sin debt and was Resurrected.
Believe in the Word God and keep to his commandments and try to live by the example of Jesus Christ and sin no more.
How can a person`Be Born Again` in Christ if they do not believe that they are sinning?
How can they`Be Born Again`when they live by their own morals and not God`s?
I believe that you cannot be a Christian,born again into Christ if you continue to sin and disregard the Word of God.
I stand by the Word of God to support my case.

The power and authority comes from God through Gods Word,I am stating that I believe in Gods Word.
The Word of God teaches us what is sin and the teaching of Jesus Christ teaches us how to live our lives in Christ.
The Word of God teaches us how to live a moral life.
I am stating my belief and am asking those who agree or disagree for their imput.

It just doesn't add up does it? It's almost ludicrous to purport that Jesus Christ has drawn you unto Himself yet you reject the very Word that He has given by which men are set free.

There are a lot of folks lying to themselves.

The very Word of God says it best: 4The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. 1 John 2:4-6

If you reject the very Word that is the commands that God says you will keep if you know Him, you are a liar and the truth is not in you.

And we've got a lot of liars in this forum and the truth is not in them which explains their fascination with twisting God's Word into untruths.

The OP is the very message of Christ, homosexuals just like heterosexuals can be Christians. A person cant be a Christian if they are wilfully denying their sinful actions.
And again this is the word of God and thus His authority not the authority of the poster.

There is no contradiction between being gay and being a Christian. Being gay is not a sin, and there is nothing to repent of. Christians should learn to accept gay people as we are.

Applause for those Christians who follow the message of Jesus and accept gay people as we are, as God made us.

Since loving one's spouse is not a "sinful action," gay people are not sinning by marrying and loving our spouses. And I mean our same-sex spouses.

My question to you would be, why are you not doing as you teach?

Jesus Himself in His earthly ministry probably did not address the question of homosexuality. He did, however, preach quite uncompromisingly on the nature of sitting in judgment over the supposed sins of your fellow man.

If you wish to be a Christian, repent and follow His commandments -- and allow others to do likewise.

I will continue to post here because I am a Christian, and I am also a gay person. I am, therefore, directly affected by how my fellow Christians treat gay people. I have a good reason to post here.

I cannot speak for God; therefore, I cannot lie for God. I can and do speak only for myself. I state honestly my beliefs about God and about sin. God does not require gay people to "repent" of being gay. Nor does God require gay people to "repent" of loving our spouses. That's what I believe. You may believe something different, and that's up to you. However, I will speak what I believe.
