Can a frantically busy person take this on?

This probably sounds a lot like a very busy person thinking about having kids lol. I am quite busy, but I don't plan on having kids for a while. The actual purpose for this thread is to draw on the experience of the busiest people in the world. Parents. And, oddly, it has to do with business.

I am trying to pay for college and need $8K-$15K by Spring 2011. I am maxed out on all kinds of financial aid, except for scholarships, and it is highly unliklely that I will get that much in scholarships in time. One of my friends introduced Market America to me, a friend who I have watched earn more and more money as time went by. Since then, I have had a mild miracle using one of their products (I say mild because there are first-hand stories of hopefuls in the business who have seen those who couldn't even button their own shirt because of arthritis become capable of this in a few weeks taking OPC-3; and there are many other stories as well). I have done some research, too, and MA is a legit company. They have been around for a while and grown quite a bit.

I posted another thread about Market America, and everyone pretty much agreed that it was a scam or that I would be severely disappointed. It is network marketing, and everyone seems to associate that with a warning sign. Normally, I do, too. My family has been burned more than once. However, no one has posted who knows anything about the company itself. And you can't tell if something is different or special unless you know what you are looking at. I tend to disagree with them. So, my question is, specifically: does anyone have firsthand experience of the company? Does anyone have a success story? I hear a lot of them from parents, but they are recordings of people I don't know.

To answer your question..YES busy people are right for MA because that means you are motivated! Market America is a legitimate business for entrepreneurial people. It is especially great for Christians because the only way you can succeed is by teaching others to be successful. It is NOT MLM it is an Internet Franchise model and it is right for people that are motivated, positive, friendly, professional and organized. That eliminates a lot of people! The MA exclusive products are amazing and the 3500+ stores are the future of the company. I've been a business partner for 4 years and tried others. I never regret a day with this fabulous company!

Thank you :D. I was afriad for a while there that I was all alone in this forum concerning MA. This is really helpful, too. I may have heard it before and maybe not, but calling it an Internet Franchise model is an awesome way to describe it and give people the right idea right off the bat. It associates the idea with things they know and are comfortable. I am going to specialize in Motives makeup. I think it will be fun. That probably has something to do with my trainer, Peggy Wooten. I think she could make anything fun. It's really good quality and diversified, too, and I can tell this even though, ironically, I never wear makeup :p. Mixing the liquid foundation and minerals will be especially cool. I love working with paints and this is quite similar. What's your major?

And mandyangel, no, I have something of an aversion to Avon. My mom did it more than once for extended periods of time, putting a lot into it, and it didn't yeild at all. MA has a different structure, though, so I have a lot of hope for it.

Hate to burst you bubble but MA is MLM. I have plenty of friends involved with MA. Don't understand why people shy away from mlm and try to HIDE it. It's selling but selling is the only fair job out there. You sell, you get paid, you don't sell, you don't get paid, you do a little , you get paid a little, you do a lot ,you get paid a lot. Your background, your education, how great you look, where you live, male or female is all void.
