(One of my concerns with this topic, is that the younger generations of
American Christians, cannot explain why Christians should react any differently
than demonstrators on college campuses.
You can claim that the recent college demonstrates were not Christians
(I think that some are), but the question remains how Christians ought to view this sort of demonstration.
Younger Christians often do not realize that Christians have a moral-ethical ought
to be lawful citizens. Not every form of "demonstration" is moral, even if the
cause is moral.
Unfortunately, Paul uses a number of different definitions of "law" (nomos), and
this relationship between the secular rule of law and Christian behavior needs to be carefully argued
using the Scriptures.)
