Camp Prayers

Hello all!

This is a temporary prayer request I have...and I'd just love it if you could spare a moment to petition God for me. I am leaving tomorrow to be a counselor at Snow Camp...and I am very thrilled to see God's hand at work! At first, I was swamped with feelings of doubt and insufficiency, but God has worked through that and has replaced it with the knowledge that I was never sufficient for anything to begin with...that it's Christ in me that makes me go!

Please, pray for all the girls in my cabin...that God would speak to their hearts...not just emotionally but spiritually. And please pray that I wouldn't get in the way...that God would be able to use me. And also for the speaker...that he would have wisdom and be able to connect with all the kids (and even the counselors). Thanks so much to you all and I'll be back on Saturday to give a praise report!

Oh sounds like fun Snowdove, I'm envious!

I pray you have lots of fun and can touch what lives you may. I'm sure you already know how to make friends and be likeable, you have an adorable picture up there, and please don't take that the wrong way. Just look very likeable and friendly and that can't hurt when you're going away to camp.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support! It was a challenge in one way in particular, but God is so cool! I loved it, and hope they ask me to come again next year!!!
