For all my brothers and sisters <3
Jesus DID die on the cross for my sins and EVERYONE'S sins, including YOURS.
And he got up to teach us the BIGGEST lesson we could ever learn.
FORGIVENESS. Through TRUE forgiveness, we open the door to the POWER we have in Christ. The POWER to change our lives and live on this earth as it is in Heaven! Gloriously! Joyfully! Freely! Peacefully! Abundantly!
Believing that Jesus (the Holy Spirit=the Spirit of God in human form) died for us, is very correct.
Many Christians, when getting others 'saved,' tend to stop at the point where Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but it didn't end there. The biggest lesson for us was that HE GOT UP.
Because if you believe that he died for you and ROSE up, then you have opened the door to faith in the infinite miracles of God. He showed us after he GOT UP, that there is no such thing as DEATH where he's guiding us to! That the place he's guiding to is of the infinite and UNCONDITIONAL love of God.
We couldn't forgive ourselves. We didn't know how to. The way to do it has always been there. The Holy Spirit of God has always been here. It didn't JUST jump on the scene when Jesus came into being.
He's ALWAYS been here. That's how the Bible was written and how all the stories of the favor of God were able to take place because of the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit. But it took Him(in human manifestation) dying on the cross and be lifted again on the 3rd day for us to finally get the picture. WE ARE forgiven by God.
Unforgiveness is THE core issue we deal with in life (whether it be in ourselves or in other people and situations). Many times we wonder why, even though we've come so far, is there still this void in our hearts. It's because somewhere in our lives, we have not forgiven someone. And I'm going to tell you right now, it's not someone ELSE. It's yourself.
Forgiveness of our sins is the BIGGEST and perhaps the ONLY lesson and gift that God has for us. Because through forgiveness there is Love. Through forgiveness you know God.
Through TRUE forgiveness, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you can see God and His Love everywhere.
I love you all <3
