CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My girlfriend I met through a Christian chat room probably 6 years ago...I never thought she'd be my g/f ever. If you'd told me she would be I would have laughed and thought you were smoking something.
When we reconnected early this year we grew more and more in love and she brought me to see her. CA to MI is a long distance. But we're making it work and thankfully I'm originally from MI and have connections there. I've been planning to move back for a long time and this has been a real blessing from God. The distance is a hard thing, but I know it's only temporary and I love her so much and want to be the man that God wants me to be for him and for her.
The first time I called her I wasn't nervous at all...I'm never really nervous about stuff. Meeting her for the first time that was when I got nervous.
