News Flash...A Dr Who costume worn by Tom Baker sold at auction for £24,600 (about $48000) mind you this was nothing compared to the £54,000 spent by an annoymous bidder for the original cloak worn by Alec Guiness in Star Wars.

The new series will be shown on BBC 1 in the UK on Saturday March 24th.

The Doctor meets his new companion a medical student called Martha Jones at St Thomas' hospital london and has to deal with the Rhino headed Judoon

The Doctor meets shakespeare apparently. Its filmed at the Globe in London

4) Daleks in Manhatten

5) to be announced

6) The Lazarus experiment

7) 42

8) Human nature (apparently based on a new adventure novel of the same name)

9) Family of Blood

10) Blink

11) Utopia

12) The sound of drums

13) to be announced

Captain Jack Harkness will return in episode 11, 12 and 13.

Torchwood is currently in pre production for series two and The adventures of Sarah Jane will begin filming in April.

Actually, no - it was due to start on the 24th, but has now been put back a week to the 31st. Trailers have started (there were a couple of brief teasers shown just before last night's Life on Mars).

Looking forward to it!

Thanks for that David, brilliant ...it means I now get to watch episode one. If it had stayed on the 24th I would have had to have recorded it and watched it later as I had the relatives coming round (non fans!)

Drat! DS is having some friends round for his birthday on the 24th and I was hoping to sit them all in front of the new Dr Who! Now what will I do with seven 12 year old boys!!
