Calling all writers

Hey guys,

I'm actually in need of some help. I'm working on starting a wonderful ministry/non-profit through God's grace, help, strength, etc. (You can find out more info about the ministry here.) The first project slated is a Christian website for kids, and I am in need of true stories. They can be stories based on a proverb, mission stories, nature stories, or just about any true story that will point kids to Jesus.

I know this is a strange request, but I'm running out of resources to get good stories, so I thought turning to a bunch of Christians who like to write might be a good choice.

Do stories symbolizing true stories count?

Although that would be great, I'm trying to stick with only true stories for a couple of reasons. One - I don't want to confuse younger readers, and two - the purpose of the stories is to demonstrate that God is still alive and active in our lives today. He's not just some ancient God that is off in oblivion.

Thanks for asking though! I have to admit, I am praying about the idea of having the stories that are based on Proverbs be fictional, seeing as those stories are more to help kids remember and understand the wisdom in that book. So, if you're interested in that idea, let me know, and I'd be willing to spend some more time praying on that one.
